Had lunch with my dad in The Whistle Stop Cafe. Nice selection of snacks and meals. We had the leek and onion soup which was delicious. Very clean with lovely staff. It’s got a soft play area for under 5s. So will be returning with my granddaughter.
Visited with our walking group; the staff were immensely helpful, especially with us being such a large group. We were made to feel really welcome. Coffee and cake were lovely! Well recommended will visit again with friends 😊
We arrived at the Whistle Stop amid our Lands End to Shetland cycle ride, hungry and rather damp. The staff made us welcome and we were soon tucking in to tasty "batches". On enquiry it turned out batches were "barms", who knew? So these Welsh cyclists were educated, warmed, dried and fed. Pulled po
Lovely place to stop for a cuppa and cake after a walk along the Wirral Way. Friendly staff who even made sure our dog had a treat, brilliant hot coffee and definitely have the ginger cake it they have it! It was delicious.
Great customer service, we ordered and were in a bit of a rush. The chef sorted our Tuna panini out really fast and provided a take away box. Lovely staff!!
This is a lovely cafe in the visitor centre just off the Wirral Way. It is situated next to a pond where there are so many birds and wildlife. It is a charity and there are informative posters and pictures about the wildlife, coast, beach, birds etc and wonderful views over the pond and across the b

Very lovely cafe. Very friendly staff. Fantastic tea cakes. So much fruit! Definitely recommend and will be going back soon.
Very friendly staff and they serve a very tasty vegan sausage pie with salad and vegan mayonnaise. Pies are made locally and have that home made taste. Very peaceful watching the birds and squirrels from the bird hide. The cafés profits also go to local charities
Nice pie, pasty and snag roll, followed by a decent selection of ice cream after our walk. Bit less busy than the other cafe opposite it seemed. From what I could gather the cafe is a charity arrangement which supports local community projects.
I would definitely recommend the steak & ale pie. This was was washed down by a really nice hot chocolate. Reasonably priced and friendly staff one of Wirral's hidden gems
Out for bike ride and stopped here for a break. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food and coffee really good. Would certainly recommend.
We had a lovely lunch, the home made coleslaw was delicious and we look forward to returning to the cafe. Lovely welcome. Thank you
