Went for a family birthday lunch today and the food was absolutely delicious, fantastic service the team couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. We live about 45 minutes away but will certainly be returning!
Was up working in Scole for a couple of days from Brighton. Looked online to see what was around that served Vegan options and saw this place. Was glad they served at lunch time. Popped in on the Wednesday and had the mushroom wellington. Wow! so much flavour and presented so well. I was that happy
Saw the Walnut Tree recommended so thought we'd give it a go. WOW!!! AMAZING FOOD EVERY SINGLE TIME and we have started going every week! The staff are super accommodating, prices are dirt cheap and portions ENORMOUS! The yummy takeaway+freezable meals (£20 for 5 meals!) in their shop keeps us going
We incidentally came to eat here as the place we had intended to eat at had wrong time posted and was closed. However, this was a wonderful happening.
All vegetarian options and dessert that we had were phenomenal. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We had our dog out with us on a very hot day
What a great place and amazing vegetarian food. The staff, Rachel and her team were great and made us feel very welcome. The food was of high quality and tasty. To be honest it doesn't matter if you're vegan or vegetarian, the dishes are all good.

The food is plentiful and delicious. And this comes from a complete carnivore. The deserts are to die for and different from the run of the mill pub classics. Beer was very good. So all in all a very nice meal all round. Definitely shall return......try it, I promise, you shall not be disappointed.
We drove past, looked up the reviews and gave this place a go. I'm so glad we did! One of the best meals we have had in a long time, excellent service, and excellent value. We are stuffed and smiling on our way home!
The future, if only all pubs could be like this. Very welcoming friendly staff and the food is perfection, every choice so far has been delicious. Good selection of local beer on tap too
A very nice and comfy pub, not very far away from Norwich but it is a must!!! They have plenty different dishes to choose plus specials and desserts. The food is very good and the dessert was amazing and vegan! And also the service was so good. I am coming back soon and looking forward to tasting mo
