The independent cafés seem mostly to offer the best service and this was no exception. The staff are friendly and free of drawings upon their person. Fabulous lunch. Fantastic pot of tea, plenty of milk and extra hot water brought without me having to ask. They also had skimmed milk available. The food was wonderful too. Lovely salads with three cheese tart. Really lovely dessert which we brought home as we were too full to eat it there.
Loved this super Café, food excellent staff friendly decor interesting. If ypu visit the Cathedral you must come here. Check it's open 1st so you aren't disappointed. I would highly recommend.

Lovely cafe in a great spot . You can sit outside and watch the world go by. I had an excellent flat white - nice and strong and not “burnt “ or scalding hot . The cakes are delicious too and the service friendly .
Breakfast starts on a Sunday at 9.15am. Lots of customers but not too busy. Great selection on menu - I opted for the Special breakfast. Very filling and enjoyable. Will visit again... Definitely!
