Really lovely country pub. Very friendly staff and with a sence of humour. Great food, loved everything on the menu. Really tasty. Nice atmosphere.
Visited Sunday 2 July 2023 for an afternoon drink! Car park full, had to use the overflow. People leaving of all ages, all happy and content. Went into bar area, all empty tables cleaned, staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite - and very busy tidying and cleaning as people left. Coming back for a meal on Wednesday evening π
Have not been here in a long while but glad I popped in. Food was outstanding and the service & welcome was great. The outside seating/eating area was lovely but quickly filled up. Probably could do with a few more benches for these summer months. Will definitely be back πππ
Was super happy with my meal, the accommodated my 2 Yr old who actually sat and ate his kids meal (a first) great vegetarian options too π
Only stopped for a drink mid bike ride this time but have eaten here before and the food has always been excellent and staff always seem friendly and efficient. The pub is currently up for sale so I hope the new owners maintain the high standard it currently has.
Brilliant food as always. Plenty of choices on the menu. The Mars Bar Cheesecake didn't let me down as expected. 5 star food and service to match

A lovely pub, never been there before but heard it was good, and it was good. The waiting staff were young, but very efficient, hard working and you could have a laugh with them. The food was smashing, not cheap, but in this case you get what you pay for. The ambiance of the pub was friendly, sometimes when you go into a country pub it can be a little daunting with everyone looking at you, but here you feel one of the crowd. Definitely going back.
