Lyrics Bar & Grill

Cool place. Atmosphere was nice and I loved the song lyrics printed on the walls and trim. Service was a little slow because they were busy and under staffed, but the female bartender was really nice (she was working her butt off). They had a good band the night I went, and if they are going to have bands they may want to add a small stage. Over all, a nice place and I would go back again.

I'm not sure why this place is as highly rated as it appears (4.4 as of this review) Maybe it's expecting too much but when I go into a restaurant 30 minutes after opening, but one would think they would have had the place ready FOR opening. Unfortunately for us that was not the case. As for the food, I can confidently say that everything we ate could have been found elsewhere for the same price and better. We sampled each others food just to be sure we weren't over thinking it. The best thing I can say about the place is the guy that was serving us. He was very personable and chatted with us about the history of the place, etc. We liked him a lot. During the long wait for food he was making sure we were ok. By the way, we were the only ones in the building at the time and the food took a REALLY long time to get to us. I did like the atmosphere, the walls were covered in music lyrics and album covers. It was fun looking around and trying to figure out what songs went to each lyric. Overall though I was not impressed with the place. If it weren't for the waiter our experience there would have been miserable. I can't recommend this place at this time.
