Always great fish and chips, never greasy.. quick friendly service too. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Portions are definitely not small as some reviews suggest but then I suppose it depends on your appetite! It is cash only but then so are a lot of local chippies, handy for us that we can phone order in and collect on way through

Freshly prepared food and a few vegetarian burgers and fritters as well as the usual offering. Good shop, friendly staff and good place to visit for tea or lunch, check online for opening hours as not a late opening shop.

Some of the best fish and chips I have had has been had here. Add to that a very friendly owner and staff with a large menu as well and you have the perfect takeaway. You can also eat in which makes ideal if that’s what you want. They do a fantastic chicken kebab as well.

Friendly place where you can either eat in or takeaway. The fish and chips are on the same standard as our local chippy. There not greasy or fatty in anyway. Service was swift and the food was hot when we got back to our holiday cottage. I would recommened a visit to this establishment.

Great value and good food. They have some interesting extra items such as Cod Roe, choice of breadcrumbs or batter for fish and also homemade fishcakes which were very tasty. Only a star off from their metal chairs if you sit for a meal which weren't comfortable and could really do with seat cushions.

Small vegetarian choice, chips were great!

As a fellow worker at bampton fish bar, there is a great communication skills between the workers and the customers. Yes we get busy but we are always on top of it all. I am glad to be working there.
