Wonderful place in a beautiful friendly village. We booked a table for an evening meal, which was stunning. Service was very good from a great team. We enjoyed it so much we booked for Sunday lunch, which again was fantastic. Thankyou so much for a lovely experience.

Absolutely fantastic stay hosted by the kindest people. We arrived a little later than usual and were nonetheless greeted with a warm welcome and even a steak dinner! The rooms have been recently renovated and are very clean. The location is quiet and peaceful with beautiful fields surrounding the village. The hosts kindly provided earplugs to help with early rookery bird noises but we chose not to wear them and were greeted with an orchestra of birdsongs in the early morning. Combined with a lovely breakfast, the hotel hotel left us with pleasant memories. Out of the 4 hotels we visited that bank holiday weekend this one takes the cake - highly recommend this gem! I regret not staying there for longer.
Room was lovely, located in an idylic village. Had an evening meal in the restaurant food was outstanding. Unfortunately during the afternoon the peace was disturbed by the sound of drilling.
Very clean and well equipped. Great bar and good food albeit a limited menu. The location may not be to everybody's choice but there is no doubting the comfort and cosiness. I chose it as a central location for a work schedule.
We stayed here for two nights while visiting family. Proper country pub, nice atmosphere, good food, the rooms were nice and modern and the staff were so polite and helpful, could not do enough for us. Thanks for making our visit an enjoyable one!

Great place to stay.
Rooms are lovely, the dinner was superb. We were leaving before their usual breakfast time but their chef came in early just to look after us - great breakfast.
Fabulous accomodation. Bed the most comfortable we have had on our travels in the last five weeks from Australia. Linen to die for. Bathroom excellent with a great shower. Food in the pub at night was top class and reasonably priced. A great find in for a little country pub.
Stayed for two nights this weekend, fabulous, everyone is friendly, food is amazing, (not typical pub food) rooms are beautifully decorated. We loved it, hoping to come back in December, dog friendly, we felt very welcome, in a pretty village. Thank you for a great couple of days. Highly recommend.
