Norse Bakehouse - Tongue - Photo album

Beautiful food for a £15 price point and includes a desert too!. Lots of variety on the menu and a great selection of drinks. A MUST STOP if you’re half way around the NC500 road trip. We will be back!
Concept and food excellent. We had freshly baked focaccia for lunch recently with tasty choices of fillings, everyone enjoyed their food of which there was plenty!! Will definitely be back when we’re up that way again, thank you 😊
We’ve spent a week in a cottage a stone’s throw from the Norse Bakehouse. We’ve had breakfast, lunch and an evening meal too. The breakfast rolls are the best ever! The focaccia sandwiches on the lunch menu are fantastic and the pizzas available in the evenings are amazing!! This is a rare gem! The
Made a last-minute booking here one night during our NC500 road trip - what a good decision! From the moment we entered, we felt so welcomed, and it was lovely and cosy inside on a chilly evening. The pizzas were authentic, delicious, and very large, as good as any we've tried in Italy. They are gre
Stopped on the NC500 for lunch. Beautiful location and excellent food and service. I popped in not expecting much as it’s a pretty remote place but, wow, this was excellent. Staff were friendly, the food was really nice and high quality (they bake their foccacia there!) and eating it overlooking t
Popped here for a quick snack before carrying on the journey! We ordered at the till, and sat outside and waited for our food to be bought to us! The food was delicious and ample portions served. Definitely recommend coming here for the food alone! We did find it hard to understand/see the menu but
Sweet mercy, this place is phenomenal. First, the views are unbeatable. Start with that as the baseline. Now add to that the most delicious sandwich I've had in years paired with the kindest, most lovely staff who treated me like a hungry son. Finally, the prices were reasonable...oh yeah, and it's
Lunch menu sandwiches had awesome bread and loads of filling. Lovely atmosphere and friendly hosts. Great view from the deck/garden, and fantastic hand dryers in the loos!
Fantastic pizza and ice cream right on the NC500. What a find! Crispy, tasty and a decent size - really good!! Served by friendly staff and doggy friendly too. Gets busy in high season, so definitely recommend booking ahead so as not to miss out
Delicious focaccia and good serving sizes too. Desert was also tasty but I think we may have got the last end of the chocolate cake as some parts were slightly stale. Tasty nonetheless. 15 pound a tad expensive for me but the food was really good, I can’t fault them there. They’re also very kind. Go
WOW! The best pizza this side of Naples. The selection, quality and taste are all top notch. A beautiful restaurant in a stunning location and a wonderful and welcoming family who go out of their way to ensure that each visit is special. We visit here every time we are in the North and this place is
One word - amazing! Excellent food, best pizza I have ever had, and super friendly staff. We ate in the restaurant one evening for dinner, and did take out another day while staying in a cottage nearby. Both were fantastic! They even put up a happy birthday banner for my son when we ate in, which wa
Had two focaccia sandwiches and two coffees for take away. The sandwiches were handmade whilst we waited and came lightly toasted. They were substantial and filling, came with crisps and a little pot of coleslaw. For the First quality and size of the portion, I would say it was good value. I wish th
Really nice cafe with friendly welcome and great service. We had toasted foccacia sandwiches, and they were amazing. The hot chocolate and cakes are really nice as well. There is also an outdoor seating area with stunning views. Definitely recommend.
We popped in for lunch, as were blown away by the food. "The best beef sandwich ever" was the quote of the day. Properly homemade Italian bread with enough filling that you had trouble getting it in your mouth. The £15 fixed menu is an absolute bargain.
The cinnamon bun alone would score 5 stars, but add in the fantastic coffee, the incredibly warm welcome and gf options to boot; and you simply HAVE to stop here. Do not drive past 👌👍 Edit: so good that we came back for dinner and oh my giddy aunt - how good are their pizzas! And gf pizza availabl
We stopped at the Norse Bakehouse yesterday afternoon, and were seriously impressed. The location is spectacular, seating outside was ideal and the Focaccia with roasted veg and pesto was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and very reasonably priced. A wonderful interlude in our journey. Than
Absolutely unbelievable views from this beautiful eatery. The best sandwich I've had this year followed by a delicious fudge cake. The staff are extremely polite. Would recommend to anyone doing the North Coast 500!
