Lovely local pub, the food was really nice and the staff are spot on.
Absolutely the best fish and chips I have ever had. Brilliant hosts. Very comfortable room nothing was to much trouble PERFECT and prawn cocktail
called in on way home for food. staff went out of there way to accommodate us, food was excellent. one pub to go back to. Husband on diabetes diet this pub went out of there way to accommodate.
Nice pub and good food.. All the stairs were difficult to climb. I have asthma and there isn't a lift.
Someone with more disabilities would have had trouble getting to their room. Comfy beds

In twenty years I have not been to a place as warming as this. Food was excellent with service just as good. The staff were friendly and know what they are doing. This is how places should be run.

Would recommend this place ten times over! The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable which by far exceeded expectations. The owner couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed early check in on request, and he even went out of his way to give us a lift to the wedding
Friendly welcome, helpful, great breakfast, good choice, room clean apart from the lack of pillow protecters, and clean mattress protecters,otherwise a very lovely stay

Was in the area staying at another venue, popped in for one drink and immediately wished we had booked there. Great little pub with very welcoming and attentive staff. Will stay there if we are in the area again
Excellent hotel. We were greeted by one of the lovely owners who guided us to our rooms. Later we had a meal which was not only delicious, but very reasonably priced (£130 for 6 adults and a round of drinks). Breakfast the next morning was also fantastic.

The pub is very well furnished and comfortable and the landlord and landlady are very friendly. Last night (Wed) we tried the pie night deal and it was excellent, steak & ale pie with real chips and garden peas, and all for a Fiver. We'll be going again.
