Sea Dog Brewery

Stopped here for a late night snack on our New England trip. Great atmosphere, and the outdoor dining on the river was super. Had the $30 lobster roll which was absolutely worth it. And the $9 clam chowder which was fine but not particularly good. Server recommended mac & cheese as a side and it was ok. Next time, we’ll probably get fries or a salad as a side.

It's very rare that a chain restaurant (even one with fewer than 10 locations) go to the trouble to make their own pastrami, corned beef and other foods? Damn few. Sea Dog does and it's great, as are their house brewed beers. Great service, unusually modest prices and cool locations. Highly recommend.

Sat outdoors on Father's Day and had the best service and food! The gentleman was easygoing and on top of it all! I live out of state now, but Sea Dogs is a staple upon every return. Sea Dogs is still serving the best root beer in Maine! Come into the old mill and enjoy Maine Craft beer on the river and learn a little about the local area. There are some great photos around the mill, and Sea Dogs has some great merchandise as well. I really miss the brunch they used to serve and was a little let down when I found out it was no longer. I hope this comes back as the state opens up! They can handle large parties just call ahead to set it up! Happy Dining!

Great simple menu with many options but not an overwhelming amount of offerings. Great classic American comfort food along side healthy option. Gluten free options are clearly marked and plentiful. Hold out for the outside deck seating, worth the wait, with incredible views and cool breeze on a hot summer day into the night. Live music inside and plenty of table space.

The views were spectacular! The food was absolutely scrumptious! 😋 I hadn't been to Maine in years and of course I wanted a lobster and boy it didn't disappoint! I also enjoyed the flight of beers, it was nice to try different beers. Everything was all around 5 star experience EXCEPT the customer service! My bartender pretty much ignored me the entire time. He was too busy chatting with the regulars or trying to clean up to even notice me.
