Moliceiro Restaurant

Had dinner for 6 at Moliceiro last night. If i could give this place 6 stars, I would. We shared items from every corner of the menu, and not one thing disappointed. The food was a phenomenal tribute to great traditional Portuguese dishes without drawing outside the lines. It was all very reasonably priced. The service was well beyond my expectations. The knowledge of the dishes combined with the attentiveness of the waiter made this place very special. The owner even ran out of the store to pull a special request out of the hat. I can't recommend this place strongly enough and it will be high on my list (and hopefully around) for many years to come!

Always a pleasure to go to this great Portuguese restaurant. Menu is simple and clear, with all the classics and a few surprises. Dishes are well described and come out beautifully with generous portions. The owner is very friendly and helpful with dish and drink selection. Restrooms are impeccable at all times. Highly recommended.

I visited recently for my grandfather’s 80th birthday and have nothing but good things to say. The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect. Thank you for accommodating my family, and allowing us to be a little loud because I know my family was. I highly recommend this place for family dinners, business outings, or just a place to try authentic Portuguese food.

Great little restaurant tucked in Ossington strip. Ambience, lighting and food were all good. They sat us immediately even though we didn't have reservations. Our waiter quickly came around as we were in a rush to get going. Had the Piri-Piri chicken along with the short ribs - Both were fantastic. Marissa was very helpful and accommodating - Kudos!! Very friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Personally, I feel as this restaurant is a hidden gem on the ossington. Great prices for quality food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere give this Moliceiro a 5 star rating from my experience. I had the fried calamari & the sautéed clams for starters, and they were extremely bountiful in taste and freshness. The shrimp pasta was absolutely perfect as they actually gave a good amount of shrimp & the seasoning was just right. Will definitely be back again.
