5 stars aren't enough! Tobey and Michael are culinary artists. Every dish is unique and delicious, served beautifully with such an attention to detail. Philip took great care of us and provided incredible wine suggestions for the meal. This was our second visit and we can't wait to go back. Make sure to book well in advance. Highly recommend!

Believe the hype!!! The food is exquisite! 5 courses of pure delight! They provided really clear instructions for prepping the meal at home, and photos of each plate so we could try to simulate a fine dining experience chez nous. The nice little personalized touches in our take-out experience make us look forward to dining in at Edulis in post-pandemic times.

Truly exquisite cuisine in one of the warmest, truly hospitable rooms in Canada. Owners/chefs Toby and Michael continue to operate with what occasionally seems like to disregard for business profitability (truffles at cost? What is this madness). We are truly lucky to have a place like this to go celebrate special occasions. Would give extra stars if I could.

Excellent multicourse takeout dinner. Service (gratuity) is included in the price. $75 pp. Absolutely gorgeous food. Highly recommended. 2 dishes needed simple reheating at home.

Edulis is ranked among the top 100 restaurants in Canada. I think it deserves the spot, it was a great experience and I will be returning. The Menu: The menu is a pre-fix menu and the dishes are not listed on the printed menu on the tables. Our host told us the dishes are frequently changed and there is a completely new menu approximately every 3 weeks. You need to be comfortable with not knowing what you're about to pay for. There are two options you can order, a 5 course and 7 course for $65 & $85 (the prices have since gone up). We were told that the amount of food is roughly the same as the portions will be adjusted down for the 7 course meal, although you will try two extra dishes, so ordering the 7 course meal solely for the purpose of getting more food may not be a feasible option. To start they brought out stuffed olives, house-made bread and butter. The seven courses we tried are briefly below: 1. Sashimi 2. Shredded snow crab 3. White asparagus and morrel mushroom 4. Georgian Bay lake trout with radishes and almonds 5. John Dory with muscat grapes and leeks 6. Chicken stuffed with foi gras, crawfish on a push pastry, and mushroom 7. Dessert came in two parts, one is a Cake with a rum syrum and creme, the other is a rhubarb frozen yogurt made with goats milk. Overall I was really happy with the menu. While the dishes are small they are very flavourful and rich, and as a result you dont find yourself wanting more. By the end of the meal I was definitely full. In addition to the above we tried their in house made sodas. We tried the apricot and elderflower which I would highly recommend. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is casual, and the restaurant looks like a small cottage inside and out. I think it is very well suited for a date night, as it does have a romantic vibe to it. Service: The service is good, not bad by any means but also not anything special. It was about what you expect from a higher end restaurant but nothing over the top. No complaints here. Parking: There is a parking garage just around the corner (about a 3 minute walk), with underground parking for about $4 which is nice and convenient. Will I go back? 100%.

This is my number one restaurant of all time. Had a great meal last night, truffle season. You walk into Edulis and immediately feel taken care of. The intimate vibe and cute mushroom decor. Service and food both impeccable. A must try.

WHAT TO TRY?! Their set lunch menu! I wasn't expecting much and I also didn't know what to expect because I thought it would be a typical brunch/lunch menu! This restaurant is really small so it definitely gives you a cozy feeling. I say the restaurant can fit at most 25-30 people. Most of their ingredients are sourced from organic farms. I was wowed by their first dish which is their soup of Farro Verde. The ham from El Rincon Joselito was just utterly delicious!! The flavor from that ham was just incredible. The bread was made in house and was freshly served in a cute bag. Even though there were a lot of dishes, I liked the balance of veggies to meats and seafood. The flavors of the dishes were impeccable. We also ordered the scallops which were freshly deshelled to order. The simple addition of garlic and butter with some minced parsley got our mouths drooling because we could smell it from the other table as they were getting their order of scallops! The scallops are additional add ons to the fixed menu though. Overall, though this was a filling lunch, I would say it has been one of my best lunches I had in Toronto because just the ham itself, was worth my visit to this restaurant. The Sunday cake that they made which was an espresso cake, was also a great dessert to end a happy meal. LAST TIP?! The scallop is worth the order in addition to the fixed lunch menu because you can smell the sizzling scallops fill the entire restaurant the moment they take it out from their kitchen. If you like ham, you'll like the ham here which is from El Rincon Joselito!! The fixed lunch menu is not cheap ($55 pp) so I recommend you to save this lunch for special occasions!! And lastly, all their bottled wines are 50% off on sundays! Take advantage of that!
