Lovely food and good portion sizes
Wow wow wow, after last night escapades and very very shocking food from the town fryer me and the old man decided to go to our favourite instead, the top shop fish and chips and wow for someone who wasn’t hungry at all it went flying down.

The Cod and Pie i bought from this place is amazing. Thought id try out the local fish and i was amazed how tasty it was. Highly recommended. Staff were brilliant and great service.

A really decent cod and chips at a sensible price. The cod fillet was nigh-on two inches thick and it wasn't overwhelmed by batter and it was cooked to order. There wasn't a single scabby bit in any of the chips (we had three large portions). The owners were very friendly, too. This place appears
Great fish and chips up there with the best I’ve ever had. The hake I had was 2 inches thick and the batter was not soggy or too thick, even the chips were more flavoursome than most.
A modest premise tucked away in an fairly ordinary housing estate yet the standard of both the fish and the chips are exceptional. Amazing flavour, Unforgettable taste and terrific value for money. I will go further to profess that this has to be the best fish n chip shop anyone is likely to find. H
Pretty good. The place was busy, and from the quality of food this was to be expected. I have had better fish n chips in the area but if I was in Torpoint and hungry is happily go back
We visited this Fish and Chip shop whilst we were in the area for our Sons passing out parade at Raleigh. Nice Chips, Beautiful Fish and Lovely customer service. Its easy to see why there was such a long queue. Best Chippy I've visited down south.
Very good traditional chippy took me back to my childhood. Fish excellent but chips could be a bit better preventing five stars, staff very nice. In the back streets with a regular local clientele and fair prices not some rip off tourist joint.
Very good quality fish and chips and for reasonably good value for a small Chip shop on the corner of a terraced street!
Amazing shop with lovely owners. They're always happy for a chat while you wait for your food and bring a welcoming environment to their store. They also employ quite a few young people to help with rush hours making it feel a lot more friendly to be in there.

Establishment very clean and staff were very friendly and efficient, thank you so much for all your help for one of the fussiest person I know. Thought it was simply the best fish he'd eaten.
Consistently good from Top Shop Fish and Chips, I wouldn't go anywhere else locally for take out.
Great portion of fish and chips, fresh and decently priced. the owners are lovely too! will definitely be back next time I'm in Torpoint.
