Lovely quiet place to eat , the food was amazing and some of the best chips we have tasted. Over the family we sampled a burger, fishcakes , and pies all of which were delicious. The staff were really friendly and made us feel really welcome and their service was very quick. There is also the option
Freshly prepared fish and chips made to order by friendly and cheerful staff. We only waited a few minutes for our order to be cooked, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My small fish and chips was just the right size, my husbands regular fish was perfect for him. We will definitely return.

We were down on holiday and looking for somewhere to have some real fresh fish 'n' chips. Great little place, when we came out there was a big queue so we were not the only ones that like Drakes fish & chips.

We were looking for a quality fish and chips shop and we definitely found it. Drakes of Babbacombe was amazing. The lady behind the till was so warm and welcoming inviting us to sit in the restaurant part. Food arrived freshly cooked and piping hot. Tasty fish and chips with side order of mushy peas

Ended up going here because Hanburys was shut. Glad I did. Decent chip shop. Best option is to take your meal away to eat at the seafront.

Stopped here for daily specials on way home as gotta rush off to work so needed something quick and my was I in for a surprise the chips were lush the curry sauce well that was amazing and the nuggets were great too, all in all a pleasant meal and just the right size will definitely return again
