We ate here several years ago and loved it. Having recently moved to the area we ordered a meal to be delivered. We waited 70 minutes when we were told 50 minutes, hence 4 stars instead of 5. The food was gorgeous, every dish was excellent, so much so we've booked a table for next week for my mother
Food is stunning, staff are wonderful and really trying to constantly improve on what is already one of the best in the bay imo. Price was surprisingly good. Go and visit!
That was one of the best India meals me and my partner have ever tasted,we are from Gloucestershire area and was on holiday,and we will definitely be back next year for another meal like that,as that was the most tastiest Indians ever 10/10
I've been eating here for a long time now, Omin is a top chef and a decent bloke, if you're looking for a curry in Torquay I would definitely recommend.

Booked for 2, the food was wonderful, superb service from the young man seving but sadly he seemed on his own most of the time and was very rushed! The restaurant is a little worse for wear and needs a refurb, in future i would order delivery or take away as i said, the food is wonderful.
Himalaya is unassuming, low key & if you blink, you’ll miss it as you walk by. However, what a fantastic restaurant. Firstly, the food is to die for. Whoever the cook/chef is, they deserve an award. The service was pleasant & helpful. What a truly lovely experience. A gem!
Came across this Indian restaurant by chance. We are staying in Devon for a few days. Never been to the area so decided to have a walk and find somewhere to eat. What a fantastic meal. Food was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Well worth the money paid. Will return if we come back
