Crusoes Fish Bar

Just wow! On holiday and visited because of the great reviews and we weren't disappointed. Order was freshly made, and tasted amazing. Portion sizes were great, almost too much because the fish was so big. No grease at all. Can't fault this place, have already recommended to family that come to Devon on holidays. Great customer service too and prices. Love that you do a meal deal, makes all the difference.

I rarely eat chips as I try to watch my weight, however, when I do, I am very discerning. I always follow other reviews to shortlist the chippies I use. This is probably the best chippy in South Devon. As an example, I travelled from Dartmouth to get these chips and there is a very well-known fish and chip shop there, but Crusoes is in a different league. All cooked fresh, so a small wait may be had but it will be more than worth it when you tuck-in. Oh, and exceptionally good value as opposed to some of the rip-off prices these days.

This is undoubtedly the best value for money chippy in Torquay. Cod, chips and a sauce or mushy peas for £6 on a Monday and Tuesday £6!!! Fantastic food, great portions size, awesome value and all topped of with a smile and a chat. In the current climate a weekly takeaway treat which doesn't break the bank! Top guys.. (and gals)

Haddock was superb, big flakes and amazing batter. Chips were just how I like them, with a generous helping of salt and vinegar. Everything cooked fresh to order as well. Got a regular size meal and it fed 2 grown men comfortably, in the current climate this was superb value for money. Will definitely be back.

Best chips, curry sauce and mushy peas I have had in ages. Kids meals really good value and great selection of really cold drinks. Service with a smile and very good value in what is now a challenging time for fish n chip shops. Would highly recommend. Worth driving to this place for great service and quality food.
