A very big thank you to the signal box cafe and its staff. Great breakfast and great service. Had no cadets faint during the parade thanks to the breakfast they had. Thank you very much for opening earlier for us.

Had to dash out and didn't say thank you (apologies) but just need to reiterate to anyone who isn't aware that a large part of visiting the town when stepping off the train is ticked off straight away if you walk in here. Amazing every time and definitely the best no nonsense fry up you can find in Totnes ***** stars as always

Huge and tasty fry-up for less than 10pounds. Super cute location right above the track and lovely staff. Highly recommend getting there 30-40mins before your train, no need to go into town for food.

Came here for breakfast with my partner as a little treat, as our holiday comes to an end. Very cute little cafe that smelt delicious as soon as we walked in. The food was as good as it smelt and for a great price. They were also flexible with any different preferences of food.

Proper cafe, with lovely staff. Used by everyone from all walks of life. The food is well cooked and tasty. Very good value. Bacon and egg bap super loaded with loads of bacon and a perfectly cooked fried egg, £4-50. Its great! 👍😊😋

Today was my first time of visiting this establishment. So start with the pros… great location and a beautiful conversion and repurposing of an old signal box. There was a reasonable selection of items and food appeared to be cooked to order and the pricing was fair. The The drawbacks: Service at the till was quite slow but what I will say is that this seemed mostly to do with how orders were being passed over to the kitchen which felt a little disorganised. Might have just been a busy spell when I visited so I’ve not marked that down too harshly, as I note other reviews speak highly of service and to be fair whilst a little slow, the guy on the till was incredibly polite and customer focused. One thing I would like to see is a better air conditioner or more of them, or even fans to get a bit of air movement - the portable one by the till wasn’t coping with the heat which made things rather uncomfortable - but I accept it was a rather hot day compounded by the heat coming from the kitchen. But I think diner comfort is something to consider for hot days. Would I go back again? Yes! It wasn’t perfect today but much better than the average and indeed better than some branded outlets found at stations.

One of the best value fry ups in town with lovely vegetarian options as well which is always appreciated. As far as train station cafe's go this definitely has one of the cosiest atmospheres to it and I recommend even if you don't have a train to catch.

Great location on platform 2 at Totnes, I recommend the Super breakfast with extra toast, Cosy atmosphere, good simple food. Returned here post covid restrictions in October 21, the cafe was less cluttered and the food was just as good as before along with the freindly service as always. Sit against the windows for a close up view of the station operations.

Cosy, old fashioned caff situated in an old signal box at Totnes station. They serve various hot breakfasts & lunches. Good value for money & friendly staff.

If u like the atmosphere of stations, then this is great. Good old fashioned cafe effectively on first floor level alongside track. I work near here and in winter pop in for a chip butty and mug of tea. Great selection of papers and mags to purchase too :)

Lovely welcoming staff, they are always helpful and so friendly. As a local family it's a great place for very delicious inexpensive breakfast. Our children also love watching the trians pass by. We have been dining here for many years and will continue to do so in the future.

Want a croissant and a tea for your trip ... get it here. There won't be any croussant left on the train 90% of the time ... and they will cost you more. Friendly, fairly priced basic caff ... which is probably why it is fairly priced.
