By far the best restaurant ever !! Authentic Italian fresh food and being married to an Italian we are very fussy about our food and I have never had a bad meal in Carmelos. It is family friendly too , our daughter is treated like royalty there. Staff very friendly too. Highly recommend this restaurant- it is truly fantastico �
Visited last night for my friends birthday and the food, the staff and the service was amazing! Definitely would recommend going here to anyone. The place was busy when we arrived but we were offered a drink straight away and then taken to are table. Thank you for lovely evening and we will be back xx
Fantastic meal and great service. The owners and staff are one big happy family. I can greatly recommend the pollo stroganoff, it was out of this world and the antipasto was to die for. Will definitely be seeing me again. Xxx
A superb hidden gem,food is absolutely delicious,service is simply incredible. Nicola,Joe,Mario,Luigi and Josie you are a credit to Carmelo as you can never do enough for us. Fantastic wine menu with always a great recommendation

There was a real buzz in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Despite it being busy we didn't feel at all rushed. We hadn't booked so we had a drink in the bar while we waited for a table. Lovely bar staff and a chilled atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon.

Came for a works Xmas do and had a great time. The atmosphere was fantastic! We were in the room upstairs and the girl behind the bar was so nice! She was so friendly and efficient, people weren't waiting long to be served and there were quite a few of us too. We had pizzas that were delicious 😋 and given that we were a last minute Xmas party, can forgive the wait time on it coming up to us as the restaurant was busy too. I loved the decor! So modern and inviting, the tables upstairs were a little bit rickety though, kept turning round and tipping up on us haha and there's not a huge amount of parking there but there is a large car park down the road with restrictions. Otherwise, a well recommended place to go.
We held a family event in the function room Sinatra's recently. It was a perfect venue for our party of under 40 guests. There is a speaker for your own playlists, a TV to play your memory slideshows etc. A piano if anyone can play. You can also decorate the room to suit the occasion. Staff are included in the reasonable room rate.
The food and service were amazing, all our guests commented on it. Thank you so much. Only one thing spoiled our event slightly, the unbelievably LOUD music from the bar below drowned out ours a bit and it was difficult to hear the toast speeches. WHY does it have to be so loud?? ☹️
Enjoyed the evening for grandsons birthday. Although was very disappointed to be charged £17 for chicken & chips for a child. Also to hear that the 10% service charge which is automatically added to the bill doesn’t go to the staff I really hope this isn’t the case and it goes to the well deserved staff.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, whether you have fabulous pasta or incredible Pizza from the wood fired oven, the food is always spot on. I personally love the cannoli and always order this no matter how much I've already eaten.
Lovely place.lovely, attentive staff fab food. My Mum is quite fussy but she loved her steak as was perfect .
Overall good fun and nice Italian. Family run place with a really Italian feel. Nice basic itallian food. It's a family favourite.

I've been here twice, one week after the other, and the pizzas are some of the best I've ever had honestly. They are always so full of flavour, the deserts are equally as good. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys some good Italian food :)
Absolutely fantastic staff and owners! We had 30th birthday party at Carmelos. Everything from the start to finish was perfect. The venue, room upstairs is just perfect with its own toilets and bar. We had pizzas, so fresh and tasted amazing! Such a lovely place and people! Definitely recommend!
We had a delicious meal here on Saturday night. The place was busy with a live musician, good service and great atmosphere. Happy to reccomend 👏
Totally brilliant, great food and very well looked after. They even made me a delicious seafood pizza which wasn't on the menu. Had a great time. Thank you. We will be returning.
Food was lovely , bar area next to the seating area playing live music had a nice atmosphere
Staff seemed really friendly only issues was every time the waiter came over engaging with the kids.
I felt I had to say , say it don't spray it as he showers you as he speaks I went straight home and got in the shower I didn't want to even think about what landed on the food.
