Afternoon tea at the bell plantation is absolutely amazing. We visited today and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. Sandwiches were made using excellent quality ingredients ( mustard seeds coated ham was delicious) . It appears that everything is made on the side from sausage rolls, scones to beetroot falafel. Service was excellent nothing to much of a problem. It was a lovely visit great food and professional service. Highly recommend. It is also great value for money!

We often stop here to break our long journey north to Yorkshire. It's a chance to stretch our legs and enjoy a great cup of coffee and good food in pleasant surroundings. I can thoroughly recommend the Maple and Pecan scones from the 'Summer Menu'. They were served warm with butter and maple syrup. I hope they make them a permanent item on the menu all year round as they are absolutely delicious and excellent value!

Regular breakfast eater. Of late, the sausages and bacon have been very dry and tough to eat. Am I right in thinking you precook certain items to speed up service now?
Otherwise a great venue, coffee good, but worried that the breakfast is not as good as it was.

Really enjoyed my visit to Bell Plantation.Lots to look at in the shops...I especially enjoyed the antique shop which seemed well organised and attractively displayed.
I also enjoyed my coffee but unfortunately my gluten free scone was under baked so still had a dough consistency in the middle.
However I will definitely visit again.

Sitting at the table we were expected to order food via our mobile phones. I hate that! So unnecessary. But luckily we found a friendly waitress.

Breakfast was delicious and very good price (£5.95 for full English before 10am). Quick service within 15/20 minutes of ordering. Lovely rustic cosy decor. Would recommend

Fantastic show room with lots of choice! Had a lovely lunch in the café and bought some lovely plants. Friendly staff and clean facilities

Lovely garden centre with good staff, great cafe to enjoy a good quality coffee

Coffee ok and cake selfmade, enjoyed a carrot cake. You order yourself and pay then they bring the food and drinks to the table. The signs to the coffee could be easier I was wondering around until I understood I have to enter the garden center and walk through it to enter

Came here last year and thought it was a nice place. Returned at the weekend. What a disappointment. Plants all looked very sad. Not much choice and all needed some Tlc. It all looked very tired. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Cake selection in cafe was very poor. Our selections were very dry. Such a shame-not desperate to return.
However the lady working in the collectable shop was lovely-chatty and friendly. The rest of the staff-especially the girls in the cafe could do with taking a leaf out of her book.

came today for the first time for several years, found it really well stocked and farm food shop was wonderful, loved wandering round the antique shop and lovely cup of coffee i the coffee shop, well done Bell plantation

Sadly it's lost its character. They've clearly spent a fortune trying to make it look like every other garden/leisure destination. And they've succeeded. The plants looked poorly cared for, the cafe has too many tables packed in, the farm shop is now just part of the main building and the vintage shop sells expensive tat. No desire to come back, which is a shame, as it used to be one of the best of its kind in the area.

Came here yesterday for Father’s Day breakfast and saw they had a limited menu due to staff shortages (fair enough) we ordered our breakfast at 11:28 and it arrived at 12:40!! No explanation as to why it was so late and wasn’t told there would be such a long wait when ordered? Such a shame as we love coming here! Could have been offered a complimentary coffee??

Lots of work going on but when it's all finished it will be a fab place to visit.
Cafe is lovely we sat in the large conservatory fab experience. Wraps were small but nicely filled.
Only one criticism my friend was asked the table number which did not have a number on it and she was snapped at by the cashier who was refusing to take the order....please ensure you have a table with a number on....rank fully my friend persisted and several checks by other staff confirmed the table DID NOT have a number. All other staff were lovely.

My daughter and I went for lunch and it was great service and great food. We were in just after 3pm and noted closed at 3.30pm. We ordered our food baked potatoe and prawns with salad for my daughter and I had homemade scotch egg and salad v good. We were not rushed at all even ordering cake for afterwards and nice and relaxed not rushed at all. Rosy served us and was very professional and friendly (pleasant young lady). Well done team 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the Bell Plantation great meeting place - this visit however I asked for a beef & mustard sandwich - lovely presentation. But there was enough mustard to sink a battle ship on it - should have sent it back but ended up scrapping it off so I did t ha e to wait again. Not a massive disaster - staff were friendly and helpful
