Review Zizzi - Manchester Trafford Centre - Trafford Park

The waiters were so happy and friendly. They seemed to really love their job and wanted to help us in any way they could. The food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault anything. They gave us a tub to take away our food when we got too full. And they were always prepared to help us. Also, the service was so quick, no more waiting 15 minutes for a drink, try less than 5 minutes here!! Could not fault this place at all!

We came here on a Saturday afternoon for our son's birthday treat. Stevie looked after us and from the get go he was just exceptional! He made a super special mocktail for the birthday boy and just really went that extra mile to make the visit special. We would return just for Stevie's amazing service! Thank you and we will be back.

Main reason for this review is the amazing Service. The staff here is super friendly and helpful! The food, mine was Prawn pasta was pretty bland. Even with extra pepper, salt and cheese it didn't get a flavour. Don't order it!!! The Ambiance was nice however this place does get super busy... Would I go back? Probably yes! But for the perfectly amazing service!!

Stopped off here for lunch whilst shopping at the Trafford Centre. It's was the 1st time I've tried a zizi restaurant and I was really impressed. The food was of a very high quality the calzone was packed full of toppings and was very tasty and the fries were really good too (I never say that about plain fries) and it wasn't expensive either. Gutted I didn't get his name but the waiter we had brilliant, he was attentive and gave a service with a smile, always a bonus to be welcomed like that. I'll definitely be back.

Came in here today for a meal with a friend, the staff greeted us with a smile and showed us to our table, they brought out our drinks and these little pasta crisps (which were amazing by the way). The waiting time was slower than usual as we showed up during the lunch rush. The food arrived soon later and we could not complain, it was some of the best Italian food I have ever had in my life. We finished our meals and waited for the bill, the staff were very friendly and happy to help by answering our questions, coming to ask if everything was OK and making sure we were comfortable in the restaurant. Overall I think I have found my new favourite eatery in the Trafford Centre and I will most certainly pay a visit to this restaurant again.

We had some vouchers from our Tesco Club Card so we went to Zizzi after shopping. When we walked in we were told they were out of dough, so any pizza meal or garlic bread was off the menu, which was quite disappointing. However the pesto and tomato ciabatta was very nice, as were the olives. The chicken rigatoni was a decent sized portion, and tasted good. The wild boar meatballs had a good taste, but the dish was quite wet at the bottom. The loaded fries came and were luke-warm, which again was quite disappointing. Overall it was an okay experience, just a shame there was no dough as I enjoyed the calzone last time I went.

Service was slow only because it was busy staff was lovely I didn't really like the meal but my own fault for the choice but my partner loved it

We visited Trafford Centre the other day, and Zizzi seemed like a good option for lunch. Pizza was great and as expected. We also tried the chorizo carbonara and definitely a tasty choice. We got a small salad dish, which was not up to the same standard. Overall, good option for lunch if you find yourself around Trafford centre.

Excellent service, even remembered us from a previous visit. The Sticky Pig pizza is a feast of flavours. Good wines and beers - try a bottle of Hophead beer. The sea bass is also very good. They accept Tastecard 2 for 1 without any problems, offering a good saving on food. Would highly recommend.

Update: After complaining to head office. They took my complaint very seriously. They gave me a free complimentary meal for two, and it was fantastic! I can not fault them I will pull up the star rating to a four the only thing letting them down was the previous experience I’m afraid. Absolute joke! Fully booked up but the restaurant is empty!! The staff were rude and she rolled her eyes at me then proceeded to talk down to me. Then they said “there’s nothing that can do,” well open up the seating area for a start. I then laughed and thought she was being sarcastic, she shrugged and gave me a blank stare. She was incredibly rude!! Please train your staff properly. They are no different from the the people that work at McDonalds, KFC, Burger King or Subway. Actually the people who work at the other venues are friendlier. It’s too bad I didn’t get a of her name, so I could name, she’s a bad representation of your company. She was utterly useless and incompetent, please replace her with a cardboard cutout, you could get more sense out of them. She was a little Vietnamese girl. Please keep a close eye on her and make sure she’s does not “greet” the customer.

Staff were absolutely lovely, didn’t get the waitress’s name but she was a star, as well as the man who showed us to our seats. Food came quickly even though the restaurant was busy and it was lovely, thank you :)

Avoid - Definitely do not recommend! Waited about half an hour even though half the tables were empty (in hindsight, maybe this should have clued me in). As being seated told meals were taking about 40 mins to be served. Once it arrived, pasta was awful as though had been microwaved, ravioli was dripped with a spoonful of straight up pesto and a couple of cherry tomatoes, not as a sauce. And finally the waiter couldn't even manage to crack a smile even though paid a 20% tip - thinking about it, no staff smiled. Terribly disappointed (thumbs down) on all aspects.

Unfortunately our experience at Zizzi was not good. I have never complained about a meal before so this was a first. We waited 30mins for a pizza and chicken dish, it understandably was busy as it's the summer holidays, however no one informed us that there was a wait or came to apologise. When our meals did arrive, there were cold. According to our waiter they had been sitting on the pass and then proceeded to explain how the Zizzi kitchen worked, safe to say he was baffled. Why send out cold food? The waiter told us it would be 5 minutes to replace the dishes. How can it take 5 minutes for a pizza and chicken dish, especially when it took 30mins the first time?? When it did arrive my chicken dish was very dry, I am pretty sure it was just reheated but being hungry I ate it anyway. When the bill arrived I was shocked to receive a full price bill. I told the waiter I was not happy with this and he kindly took the pizza off. I worked 8 years in the restaurant business so I know the troubles and things that can happen. Sadly, this was an experience we don't forget.

A queue to be seated, so yes it was busy when we arrived, but by the time we were seated there were more than a couple of empty tables. We were seated & then the waitress took our order... Fine... But then once our drinks arrived things went a little down hill. On serving the children's drinks the waitress spilled the drinks & thought this was fine. My large beer & sprite was served with small glass, but every other table that had a large bottle of beer had a large glass... Then between courses we had to shout to get the waitresses attention away from chatting at the till with her colleague to order another drink. The final straw was again having to shout to get the waitresses attention for the bill & then being left for ages for the waitress to come over and settle the bill once again due to her chatting with her colleague at the till. We've eaten here before & had great service from a waiter that still works here so obviously it's an issue with just this one member of staff. Manager please sort out your staff as it reflects badly on you....

We go to this particular Zizzi when ever we go to up to Manchester. I have to say that yesterday we were unable to book a table online. However speaking to the manager he assured us we would get a table at the time we requested and we did! It is a busy restaurant but the food and the service have never been less that fantastic. The staff greeting us were polite as well as the staff waiting on us. We will definitely be going again. Well done to all the Zizzi staff!

We had a lovely meal there yesterday for my birthday. The seafood sharing starter was amazing no waiting. Main courses were just as good. Our waitress asked if it was a special occasion and as I said it was my birthday she brought out 2 glasses of Prosecco on the house. It was an excellent meal and would thoroughly recommend it and will certainly return

Never complained about my food before, however my evening here the other night was apporling. We waited 20 minutes before being noticed by a staff for some drinks, which took a further 20 minutes to come. Once the food arrived it was cold, dull and sloppy, to force the food down I was looking around for a member of staff for some complimentary sauce however, none was around the shop floor but was talking around the bar and in front of the kitchen. At the end we just asked for our bill and didn’t even end up having our mains or dessert.

Got a table for 3...ok...drinks ordered, ok...then the very long wait for starters; too long in fact. Although quite busy, staff seemed to be rushing around like blue ass flies. Menu seems to be a little over priced considering what it is, Italian...and 12 earth pounds for a Chicken Salad is a little steep, but hey oh, it is what it is! Want to shop amongst some high end outlets and take your scran within the same venue...expect nothing less.

We booked and got seated straight away which was great as busy for Mother’s Day. The food wasn’t great as bolognaise was like gravy but edible. The waitress was fantastic though which made the experience better. Credit to her as she so friendly and was a pleasure to be served by her

Wednesdays evening restaurant half full and under staffed. Waited over an hour for two mains and one starter. Food very average. Wouldn't recommend.

A fantastic visit today with the excellent waitress Uddie. She really made our visit special and made such a fuss of our 2 year old daughter. I have never seen her eat as much because she was praising her - thank you. We have eaten in several Zizzi and have never had such an enjoyable experience. Thank you Uddie!

If you like waiting visit here ! Ordering drinks, receiving drinks, ordering food, being served food, asking for the bill, paying the bill....all took way longer than they should have. Didnt even get glasses with the bottles when they came. Food not particularly nice either. Do yourself a favour and avoid

Took a while to be seated even though there were empty tables and no one else waiting. Order placed and drinks arrived promptly. Food took ages, after we got a bit fidgety the waitress came and apologised for the wait, said the chef said sorry n it would be 5 mins, about 15 mins later food arrived. Waited about an 40 mins in total. Pizza n garlic bread was very good, pasta (carbonara) was ok, had better. Bill arrived promptly, was able to use student discount 30% off which was a big bonus and made the wait bearable.
