Review The Inn At The Bay - Trearddur Bay

Nice food and friendly staff. Sat in the conservatory this time as it was extremely windy outside. We enjoyed the food, the pie was a smaller portion than last time but still good. Waitress was attentive, and had a good sense of humour. However, I ordered my pie with garden peas and fries, but I got lukewarm mushy peas. Nobody came back to check that the meals were ok, and I was too hungry to mess about waiting. After pudding, we were just left sat for ages without being asked if we wanted anything else or the bill. Note: staff were stood around at this point. I kindly pointed out the food error when paying and was given a not so genuine apology. We will probably come back next time we do the big headland walk, and fingers crossed for getting it right.

The little pub is a great venue to gather and watch sports. We enjoyed the Wales vs Argentina RWC2023 - although a disappointing result - the atmosphere was relaxed and the drinks were readily at hand with friendly staff. Menu prices are steep, so we skipped the meal, but all in all a lovely place to visit.

Kayleigh our hostess was friendly, efficient and attentive and she made sure our order arrived quickly and correctly. The food was excellent! Every item on the fishmongers platter was cooked to perfection. The coriander and mint pea paste with the spot on cooked scallops were delightful. The black pudding with poached egg was also very nice. An experience not to be missed!

This was nice lunch with friends. Food was gorgeous. It was hot day, you have an option to sit outside. Toilets are clean. Plenty of tables inside. After lunch you can go for a walk on the beach which is very close. Parking is paid.

We have lots of family allergies so eating out its hard to find something for everyone. Jenny and Nia were amazing totally understood and went out of their way to help us. We all enjoyed the meal and would definitely go again. Thanks very much.

Had a lovely lunch today. Really nice food in a lovely atmosphere. Even better that it was very dog friendly. Lovely waitress too. Thank you.

Lovely food in a beautiful place is the best way to describe this place. The staff and chefs produce absolutely excellent food, and the bar is superb. At the front is a delicious ice cream parlour and coffee shop, to the rear a great bar & restaurant which is dog friendly until 6 p.m. The beach front is a really huge 100 yards away to walk off the food 😎, a really really lovely visit again.

Popped I for a late lunch after a long drive to Angelsea.. Service was excellent, and the set menu had plenty we liked the look of. Tempura vegetables to start followed steak n chips. Food was piping hot and cooked to perfection.

Spot on. Staff really helpful and plenty of them to mitigate the volume of guests that have increased in the Trearddur Bay area. Really nice decor inside with a great atmosphere. Good choice on the menu although "lunch" menu a little short on choices. The kids menu is great also. The Sunday Roast Dinner was amazing. Great portion sizes and the gravy was unreal. Jenny really looked after us. Thank Jenny!! 👍 We'll defo be back.

The service here is excellent. Very friendly and attentive to make us feel welcome. The food was average- tasted ok and filled a hole although, I suspect they benefit of a constant stream of tourists and hotel benefits allows for this.

Called in on the spur of the moment on Saturday teatime and was placed in the lovely surroundings of the quiet snug. Service was impeccable and staff really friendly. The food was amazing, best fillet steak out ever, cooked to perfection. Simple hallumi salad was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back 😊

Good Sunday roast and the kids meals were good too. None of us fancied anything from the pudding menu though. Why no pie and custard?

Well.... what a nice find this place was. Served today by a really nice lad called Aaron. It can be a challenge to find dog friendly places to eat but here no only did they bring our lab a bowl of water, but also a dog bone treat to munch on. Food wise it was lunch time... so my wife took the grilled chicken sandwich (which was ok) and I had the posh fish finger sandwich. Coffee was nice, food was OK and the experience was made all the better by Aaron who was polite and professional. Good job 👏 👍

Very pleasant surroundings, staff are all polite, food is nice, but portion size is a little below what I'd expect for the price. Would eat here again as the overall experience was good.
