Capabilitea Cafe Trentham Gardens - Trentham - Photo album

We've eaten here twice now. The staff are friendly. The food and drinks can sometimes take a while to come out. The ham and cheese toastie is pretty good and the most recent time I tried the biscoff latte which was tasty!
A great visit to Capabilitea recently- its a quirky cafe with lots of seating. The cakes were absolutely delicious and the drinks were piping hot! The service was good, my only negative was that when the drinks were handed over the waitress put her fingers around the rim of the mug where we'd drink
Ordered two gluten free salted caramel cake and two flat white coffees. The cake was really dry and did not tast of caramel and the flat whites were lattes. We were unable to speak to an assistant as they were too busy.
Quaint and charmingly decorated tea room. Coffee and tea were good, though my little brother wasn’t the biggest fan of his milkshake: whipped cream and syrup were already dripping from the glass and he found the taste sickly sweet. Lovely staff
Beautifully quaint tea room, desserts were delicious, no problems when asking for a soya milk hot chocolate for my son - and most importantly - decent sized teapots!
Had oatcakes with bacon and a pot of tea for two. We had to wait about 10min for the food (were told it would be 15min) but they were busy and all working hard. Worth the wait as the oatcakes were very good and the tea came in a large pot. A very enjoyable lunch.
Tasty pot of tea. Traditional tea room. Friendly service. Nice relaxing atmosphere for a chat, cuppa ‘me Duck’
Had a lovely lunch and coffee here, lots of tables and plenty of room for my pushchair. Staff were really friendly and quick with bringing over drinks and food. Definitely be eating here again!
Lovely Tea Room and the Victoria Sponge we had was so fresh and light.
It was ok, service a bit slow and had to clear my own table despite there being plenty of staff, but coffee good.
A great place to go to have light bites, cake and coffee. They do different drinks including various hot chocolates.
Didn't have any food, it was tempting though, just called in for a quick coffee which was excellent, it was quite busy, not surprised as it's a super tearoom.
Lovely tea room. Dined for lunch, carrot and coriander soup was lovely. Cakes lovely. All food very reasonably priced. Staff lovely and friendly, good quick service even though very busy. Only let down was that the doors couldn't be closed and it was cold and draughty which spoiled it, staff said ne
We love Capabilitea and always visit when we come to Trentham. They have a great range of hot drinks and cakes for all dietary requirements. We had a beautiful dairy and gluten free lemon and raspberry cake which is usually very hard to come by.
