When it seems like the Melbourne cafes are loosing the plot for consistency, this gem in the small town knows how to create great coffee, food, atmosphere and serve with the at most attention! Well done team and thank you for your service and the beautiful place you created 🙌🙏😊

For the moment I walked in, they were attentive and fast. It is a classic old building that has lovely natural light flowing through. Everything that I chose was beautifully presented and brought speedily to my table. This cafe makes visiting Trentham worthwhile

We followed the locals heading to Trentham General for their coffee fix! We ordered our coffees takeaway and couldn’t resist the delicious home made treats in the cabinet- I haven’t had a lemon slice in years and it tasted as good as I remembered. The large choc-chip cookie was equally delicious- crunchy sides and soft Centre.
We waited outside for our coffee and they were served to us by the waiter. Coffee was good, just what we needed.

Probably the jewel of Trentham, this little cafe has it all. Nice ambience, really friendly and attentive staff, was complying to all COVID safe practices, good coffee and well priced. I had the brisket eggs Benny which looks small on first glance but was tasty and filling. Check out the range of eclectic books to skim while you wait and range of take home items.

Lovely food and great interior. My inlaws said the coffee wasn't too bad either! Admittedly we are coffee snobs 🤣 had the eggs Benedict myself and it was lush. Great little place.

Loved the food and atmosphere of this cafe, along with the gorgeous teapot my Chai latte came in. Service was nice too. We would come again, thankyou! My Eggs Benny was amazing!!

Cute cosy little cafe to stop in for a coffee and brunch. Service was very friendly. My partner had the Risk it for the Brisket dish and I had the Mushroom eggs Benny. Both were yummy. Wish the fire place was going though.
