With very little notice, the lovely ladies in Silver Spoons whipped up an afternoon tea for my daughters' birthday that they will never forget. Complete with balloons, banners and feather boas!! I cannot rate them highly enough, the food was delicious, the tea sets are adorable, and the service was exceptional. Thank you so much - we can't wait to come back!!!

First visit to Silver Spoons Tearoom & I was well impressed. The atmosphere was so nice and festive & Aimee provided perfect entertainment. The Festive Afternoon tea was a delight. There was a good selection of sandwiches - all very tasty & super fresh. The sweets treats were excellent and plentiful....and as an added bonus anything that couldn't be eaten was boxed for you to take away to enjoy at home. The staff were very welcoming & extremely attentive throughout our visit. I would highly recommend. I believe the price was reasonable enough for what you got but can't comment as this was a gift. I will definitely be back for another visit.

Such a lovely tea room. Discovered it about a year ago and have been back numerous times, with my parents and also in-laws from South Africa. The tearoom itself is so quaint, the staff are really friendly, the soup and paninis are always delicious and the cakes... OMG. You have to try the red velvet cake! Would highly recommend a visit! I'm hoping to be back sometime this week for some more cake!...

Just had a really lovely lunch. Goats cheese, honeyed walnuts and apple on an open sandwich. Lovely earl grey loose leaf tea and homemade tiffin, served on beautiful Royal Albert bone china. And a cake selection to die for. Thank you!

Mum (97) and I (not 97!) stumbled upon this place today as I cruised around Troon looking for a parking space. What a find! Service excellent. Assisted mum to table with minimum disruption - mum using quad walker. Menu so varied. Today we had soup and pudding combo. Option to have large or small soup. We both had chicken and rice soup (1large 1 small) followed by apple and blackberry pie (1 with ice cream other with custard) Yum! Look forward to trying rest of menu soon!!!

Had a lovely afternoon tea which was gluten free today with my mum and daughter. It was a special treat for me as many places do not cater well for gf! We would recommend the tearoom to anyone and will definitely be back! The soup was lovely and the dainty sandwiches and cakes were beautiful! The Staff were lovely and took time to chat to us and were very friendly!

This was a surprising find when I was looking for a place to meet with family. What a cute cafe! It also seems to have lots of events on which are community driven. The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly. We had an afternoon tea and there were a few choices of menu at various price points. I will definitely be back to explore more on the menu and hopefully be able to check out some of the events!

Loved the decor and also the quality of food. The owner seemed very stressed. I understand that, but having owned a similar restaurant, I would recommend that the concept that customer is queen always be upheld.

What a find. If I had been given a blank sheet and told to design a tea room this would be it. Proper tables, proper chairs, quaint china tea services, sugar tongs, leaf tea and an amazing variety of home cooked scones and cakes. The decor was tasteful and in keeping with the tableware. The music enhanced the overall ambience and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will revisit Troon just to go back to Silver Spoons Tea rooms :-)

What a wonderful place, a walk back in time to when detail was put into the art of afternoon tea. Team made from tea leaves, freshly baked scones and cakes to die for,, breakfast items that are so tasty and plentyful you would think you were in a top restaurant. The service is pleasant and you are made to feel very welcome. The most amazing thing was the price, very reasonable and takeaway price are very fair. Wish I could take the whole shop home with me. Thank you for an amazing experience and I will return next time I visit troon

I had a really wonderful afternoon tea at Silver Spoons with two of my daughter's. It was a Birthday treat for me which I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and the sandwiches, scones and cakes first class. A real nice touch is they put on boxes to take away anything you don't eat. The decor is lovely, a real old fashioned tearoom. I will definitely be back and will recommend.
