Stayed three times now and love the classic, old fashioned style (not modern sterile). Beautiful old building. Friendly staff. Good food. Peaceful tranquility. Great value. Will stay again.

Just spent a night here with my mum. We loved the experience. The staff were efficient and attentive - I phoned for an iron and had it delivered to our room within seconds. The room was lovely and toasty warm (even with below 0 temperatures outside). The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Would definitely return again :)

We had an amazing couple of nights here for our daughters wedding. The staff were absolutely amazing with a big shout out to Mel who organised all my daughters wedding instructions to the detail and Dan who looked after us so well in the evening. The kitchen and waiting staff were so good with the wedding breakfast hog roast which was delicious and the buffet breakfast the following morning was lovely. It was a beautiful venue for the wedding both inside and out. The orangery looked amazing for the wedding and turned into a great disco floor later. Unfortunately the weather meant we weren't able to get more photos outside but got some nice ones near the fountain and under cover at the impressive front entrance. It was great that we had the whole hotel to ourselves all day and through the evening so there was no issues with worrying about the noise from some guests that stayed up later. Definitely 5 stars!

I have been playing piano for weddings and parties for many years and Broadoaks is by far my favourite wedding venue for small to medium-size weddings in whole of the The Lake District! The staff are SO friendly! The location is SO peaceful! The standards overall are SO high! Broadoaks has everything you could possibly wish for!

We had a beautiful overnight stay at Broadoaks as a treat to end our trip in the Lakes and made use of their midweek offer. Our room was upgraded, which was a lovely surprise, to the Ash room which had a spa bath and a huge bed with great views of the grounds and further to lake windermere. We had afternoon tea on arrival which was delicious and there was plenty of food for the both of us. Dinner and breakfast was great too but the afternoon tea was a highlight of all the meals. Have recommended this hotel to family and friends for a special occasion, it really is worth it. If you’re considering booking, do it!

Gorgeous boutique country house hotel in a stunning Lake District location just 5 minutes drive from Windermere. The BEST afternoon teas and delicious restaurant food too. This intimate hotel (20 bedrooms including some garden lodges) also hosts amazing weddings for 32 up to 100+ guests, with great value pricing!

Had the experience of stopping here for my 40th birthday as a present from the other half. They are rather accommodating. A nice stay.

My daughter has her wedding booked in May, Jo, and the team couldn't do any more for us. So lovely.

Had afternoon tea here on Sunday, think it was one of the best. Greeted by a lovely friendly man who made us feel very welcome. The food was all homemade and delicious., especially the pie. Not often my friend and I can't finish but this time we had to leave with boxes of cakes to enjoy the day after at home. Location was peaceful, quiet amid beautiful pastoral scenery. Definitely recommend and will return .
