The Hope has been done up really well. Staff are friendly, food and atmosphere are great, and there's a decent range of local beers with a guest keg line. Highly recommend cycling the Two tunnels route to get there and locking up bikes outside. Great for a Sunday roast
Fantastic friendly staff, with great service from Sean and the team. Sam singing created a lovely atmosphere and the food was outstanding, especially the crumble and ice cream. Lovely to meet the owner and support this family pub which I'm looking forward to visiting again.
The 3 of us had an excellent lunch here today and could not possibly have been better looked after by Spencer. There was a good number of people also having lunch and the ambience created by our host (and the log burner) was delightful. The Hope and Anchor at Midford is to be recommended.
Lovely pub, fab food, good selection of beer and the service was brilliant.
The garden is lovely!!
