Four different meals ordered, and all were absolutely delicious ! My wife is vegetarian so she just adored it, I’m a meat eater but it just doesn’t matter when food tastes as fantastic as this does ! Great service, price was surprisingly low, and even my trusty four- legged friend was brought a water bowl and a doggy biscuit on his own plate ! My daughter and her partner were extremely impressed and will return to the restaurant as they live locally.

My wife treated me to lunch on Saturday after a particularly challenging week.
I was excited to try the Cornish Vegan as I've walked past it for the last 20 years and never once been inside, but recent reviews had piqued my interest.
We ordered the poutine to share, 2 Rueben sandwiches and couple of excellent Bloody Marys.
The service was great. Attentive and with attention to detail, clearly interested in ensuring the experience was to the customer's tastes. Of course that should be standard but it's less common than you think.
The drinks were perfect, seasoned well, and with the option for more heat and salt if desired.
And then the food arrived...
Oh. Yes.
The Poutine (a dish I haven't had in 25 years) was fantastic. It was really tasty, moreish, and filling but with a sprinkling of spring onion and fresh chilli that kept the palate fresh with every bite. (Poutine, while delicious, can become a bit of a slog to finish...happy to report that none of that fatigue set in here)
The Rueben sandwiches were show-stopping. A really well conceived array of flavours that bring to mind the classic, meat Rueben but build off that familiarity to create a taste sensation all of it's own. Very, very highly recommended.
The restaurant filled up pretty quickly as soon as the doors opened and the atmosphere was warm and lively.
To top off a wonderful lunch, the in-house loyalty scheme means we now have yet another reason to return.

My daughter and I found this place completely by accident on a trip to Truro. What a find! The food is superb, the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming and our last two trips to Truro have been thinly veiled excuses to revisit.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

The Cornish Vegan is our absolute favourite restaurant!! One of the very best vegan restaurants in the country, and we’ve been to many! My girlfriend and I go here regularly and for special occasions, because the food is just to die for! Amazing flavours, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked every time. We love the variety on the menu too! You’re spoilt for choice! Although we have to admit that we go for our favourites too often… we particularly recommend the ‘fish’ and chips, the Canadian poutine, the burger, the hotdog, the onion rings, and the mushroom arancini! All so so delicious!! The vegan fish and chips is the best I’ve ever had and I have it pretty much every time! The atmosphere of the restaurant is always so welcoming too. The decor is lovely, comfy chairs and tables situated ideally for the perfect meal out - whether it be a chilled lunch with friends or a cosy romantic dinner. There’s something on the menu for everyone - vegans and non-vegans alike! They’ve got various gluten-free options and options that can be adapted for children too! Perfect food, brilliant value for money, lovely atmosphere, friendly owners, just amazing all-round. The Cornish Vegan deserves every bit of praise and success. Thank you!! 🖤

Detailed review: The food was insanely good, the best vegan food we’ve had in a restaurant. My partner had mac & cheese and I had carbonara, super creamy sauces with lots of flavour which paired lovely with the local Cornish cider! The staff were so friendly and chatty, going above and beyond expectations to make us feel welcomed. My only regret is we didn’t get more! Can’t wait to come again :)

Great vegan restaurant that even the meat eaters enjoyed! One even said it was there favourite meal of our holiday! We are a group of 6 so booked ahead for a table and they were lovely on the phone to help accommodate us. Service was good and the food was great! As a vegan it was brilliant to have the choice of the entire menu! I went with the pasta of the day, which was mac and cheese and it was lovely. Two of the meat eater went for the chicken burger and loved it. Also another member who really enjoyed their had the mushroom fusion. Also a shout out for the gravy too. Everything was lovely, would recommend for all not just vegans.

The Cornish Vegan did not disappoint! When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who immediately offered our pooch a bowl of water and packet of dog biscuits! The service was excellent throughout, and the food excellent. My head was dizzy with the choice!! I think the highlight was definitely the chocolate caramel cake, which in the words of my omnivorous partner "didn't taste vegan at all"!!! Can't recommend highly enough.

What a lovely and quiet place to eat! First time here and was blown away by the super tasty food and service. To top it all off they had the best cake I've EVER tasted....vegan or not, try the bakewell cake if you get the chance. Highly recommended place for a real mouthwatering meal.

Had a fabulous lunch on Wednesday at the Cornish Vegan. Firstly it is such a treat to be able to pick anything off a menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the Buddah Bowl with seitan "chickin'" strips followed by a raw salted caramel slice - I am still smiling from this! My OH had the Cherry Bakewell cake - gorgeous, light, fluffy and one for me to aspire to on my vegan baking hit list. We'll be back again and again and again :)

My first visit today and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I had the burger and it came with a lovely side dish and a fab dressing. which had a tasty kick. It was great to just be able to relax and know that I was in safe hands. The Lemon cake is to die for!!! All the food is very filing, good generous portions and a very reasonable price. It was totally packed out and I am so pleased for these good people. Can you open one in Liskeard please? I wish you well for the future. Looking forward to the next visit. x

My first visit. Lovely, in all ways.
Pretty garden just what I needed after a hectic drive, I had an exquisite hot chocolate (just would have been nice if it was bigger - very moorish!) in the tranquility of The Cornish Vegan garden.
I returned later in the evening and our hosts were happy to be flexible and coped well with my complicated food intolerances.
I had a green salad with tofu and dips and a standard size bowl of delicious tomato soup (I was impressed with the size but I had to have 2nd bowl full because it was just soooo good).
My 2nd cup of hot chocolate of the day was also exquisite ;-).
Fond memories of when the building was The Feast veggie restaurant and I was there well over 20 years ago.

Been meaning to come here for ages and did not dissapoint. Couldn't get over how tasty the 'mayo and butter' was in my sandwich, let alone the delicious tofu in my TLT � and the raw salted caramel slice is to die for. Just perfect food and lovely service!! Just found out I have a few intolerances which I'm finding difficult when eating out,always heard of Cornish vegan and thought I'd give it a try and I'm so happy I did. Delicious!!! Truro is truly lucky to have this little gem. TLT, Chicken Wrap, wonderful salad and hand cut chips all exceptional. Iced coffee and Bakewell Tart cake topped the whole thing off perfectly! You must visit!!

After following the restaurant on IG I was so excited about my visit and I was not disappointed. Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff.
