Review The Holly Bush - Trysull

Had this place recommended to me a while ago so thought id give it a go. Mixed grill was absolutely perfect and the nepalese chips were good too. Starters we had chilli fish and nepali chicken dumplings (Momo) Will definitely use again

My wife and I dined here 12/3/15 when it had recently changed management and chef. The food was astounding - wonderfully prepared, great presentation and so, so flavoursome. On top of that, we received service that was second-to-none. If we lived nearby, we'd eat here regularly. This place deserves to be fully booked weeks in advance - it was one of the best meals I've had (and I've eaten in some notable places!). Keep it up, Holly Bush. If we're ever in the area, we'll be back!!!

Had a wonderful meal here tonight. Especially so as a meal was cooked on demand for a friend with multiple food allergies - she loved it!! And full marks to the waitress who knew exactly what she was doing!! Thank you, we will be back. X

This once rural pub is now an Indian/Nepalese restaurant. There's a large carpark and inside is warm and cosy. The staff are fast, efficient and friendly. There's a sign that let's you know the food is freshly prepared from scratch. I was quite skeptical of that but when the food was served, it certainly looked a couple of steps above any balti house. The dishes we had were delicious and full of flavours and convinced me they were all freshly prepared. Definitely will be coming back again.

Good food served in a pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Their battered chips are amazing!!
