We went to Atithi for a quick bite before an international rugby match. The food was excellent the service was fast and efficient and friendly. The atmosphere very good, all of the patrons were going to the match. My only grip is the portions were a little on the small side.

Perfect for Indian cuisine.
We ordered hara bhara kebab- it was the best starter I had in York ever. In main we ordered dal makhni, dal tarka, paneer butter masala with onion kulcha, tandoori roti and jeera rice.
My mother loved the onion kulcha a lot.
Honestly, everything was so delicious and my family was so happy. Staff was very polite and professional. I really liked the interior and atmosphere.
Gulabjamun was super soft and fresh.
I'd definitely recommend it for whoever wants to have a delicious Indian meal in York.

Delicious food - you can tell each dish is prepared individually rather than the common base sauce Indian you find in a lot of places. Good portions at good prices. Our go-to Indian in Twickenham.

This is actually a "proper Indian". I'm no professional but I've visited India 5 times in the last 5 years and can honestly say the dishes are prepared to a different standard than many many places in the UK. The curries taste like they've actually been prepared specifically and not the (base curry slop then add custom spices depending on the variety), so the result is an exquisite taste. Highly recommend, we love the gilafi handi and the chicken methiwala but I'm sure many other gem dishes exist
