Alexander Pope - Twickenham - Photo album

Rooms would be 5 star but there was a couple of minor maintenance issues, toilet flush a little loose, plug socket had something jammed in it and silicon coming off on one of the tiles. Was nice and clean and spacious, with plenty of light. Staff super friendly in both the hotel reception and the b
Great hotel, lovely spacious room, great mattress ( yes, I’m mega fussy!), own car park, great coffee machine… didn’t try either breakfast or evening meal but everything looked great. Thanks a lot. Will definitely book again There was a problem with the tv in the room, but the receptionist sorted it
Such an adorable little pub/hotel. The staff was nice, the decor was adorable and vintage but without giving up any modern convince In the rooms. The food we had was good. They let us store our bags before our flight. Across from an adorable park on the river great for relaxing. Adorable neighborhoo
This was our third (29/8)stay. We arrived to find the receptionist on the phone - after a while I decided to go to the loo, I came back, she was still on the phone. At no point did she even acknowledge our presence. It was probably another 3 minutes before she finished the call. I would say we just
This amusingly-named hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and modern, equipped with interesting retro furnishings and Mavis Batey's excellent book on Pope and landscape gardening. I appreciated the relatively tasteful pictorial representations and historical prints, and, of course,
We stayed at the Alexander Pope in Twickensham to be near our son, who was participating in a program at St. Mary’s University. The location was perfect - easily walkable to campus and town - and right across the street from a cute little riverside park. The hotel is full of charm and is very comfor
This was our first stay here and was a great location for us as it was near to family and easy walking into Twickenham. Room was a little noisy at night as it was on to the main road and the sound proofing was not great. Coffee, tea and milk were provided but not refilled after the first night unfor
My family spent a night at the Alexander Pope for a rugby match and had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. The rooms were lovely and the location was perfect. There’s plenty of parking and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Bonus, the walk to and from Twick
A splendid relaxed overnight stay. Staff very helpful. room very clean. Pub food good for supper. lovely view across to the river. Excellent omelette cooked fresh for breakfast.
Very good experience! My husband and I visited this hotel twice and we love it. The rooms , the food and the drinks were the best. The staff top level, very professional and nice. Thanks for all.
Nice place, lots of parking. Clean modernised rooms. Food was decent. Only complaint was the young floppy haired guy behind the bar who had a pretty bad attitude.
Beautiful room with a view and balcony. Was 378 quid for 2 nights so expect it. Room not massive but with balcony was fine. Breakfast was lovely except my bacon and sausage over cooked 1st morning so opted for veggie next day. Staff lovely n very helpful
I always stay at the AP when I’m Twickenham. The location suits my needs (and there’s a bus stop directly outside). The bar and food are good, the staff friendly, the rooms comfy and refurbished shower bathrooms. It’s my home from home.
Very comfortable, simply furnished rooms in friendly hotel. Right by the river, walkable to Teddington and very handy for Heathrow. A great alternative to airport hotels and good value. Staff in reception were very helpful.
Had a lovely stay with a balcony room opposite the park and river, as there were no guests booking in that day we were also given an hours later check out at no extra cost, would definitely stay here again and recommend 👌🏻
