Stayed two nights. This is an old pub with character. Room was fine, clean and good shower. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was good value, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Best thing was the cost. Excellent value for London.

An old traditional Inn, with all the original character and feel. Warming environment, friendly staff, good food, clean rooms, large beer garden. The pub is a 15 minute walk to Twickenham Stadium and about the same from Whitton Station.fantasic Location. We stayed 2 nights for an event. The staff are very laid back. Everybody talks to one another. You are not left to feel strangers. More friendly than most of our locals back at home. Rare to find these days. We would definetely return.

Decent for a cheap pint, didn't rate 5 because a chubby man from the back room started playing and tickling my wife. I assumed she knew him but it turns out he just lived in the back room. Will be back next week, thanks again.

The rudest staff in the world. First time at the bar they made me say glarrrs, to have a glass. The second time I had to play with a chubby man for 5 mins. See you next match.

Where do I start…. Firstly it was awful the bar staff spat in my drink. A weird chubby man from social housing tried to chat up my dad. The pub was clearly under construction based on the state of the beer garden. I wouldn’t want it any other way. See you next time.

Went in before the French game and some chubby man sat down and started talking to my brother must have been the chubby man from the other review who plays with 3 year olds. Everyone managed to walk into me including the bar maid with the worlds sharpest elbows. Absolutely quality see you at the next England game.

My one night stay was very good value for money. Bedroom not en-suite but that fact did not bother me. Very comfortable bed. Room cost and warm. Hot water. Excellent cooked breakfast. Lovely Ukrainian staff. I think this was a good find. It’s not the Ritz but I wasn’t looking for the Ritz. I was looking for good value. This nailed it. I will certainly return there. Quiet too which surprised me. No funny smells.

Stayed as were working in the area. Lovely place, built in the 1500's and the quirky rooms reflect that! Lovely staff, friendly locals, good food and a great pint. Worth a visit!
