Great little bar with plenty of outdoor seats. As a ginger skinned person I really appreciate the covered seating and there's a really good range of drinks available.
A good relatively new pub on the old square, nice friendly staff and really proppa chips, what more could you ask for. Sitting area at the front which gets the sun all day.

A good independent pub in North Shields. Comprising of two rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Good drinks. If you want to watch sport, their sister basement bar, will show it.
Attended an engagement party . Staff really lovely and it has a nice atmosphere my only negative is that there was nowhere near enough seating , we had to stand all night .

First time here. It's about 10 mine walk from home. I have to disagree with a previous reviewer about food being basic. Yes it ain't a la carte. But it is excellent quality food. I had special. Hot beef sandwich and chips. Was fab. Lashings of gravy. Condiments a plenty. And ye don't get this very
Most Fridays I go there, never disappointed lovley staff never an issue full marks all though the toilets are tiny.
