Bottomless coffee and coffee cake for £4.80. Exactly what you need after a long wet spin on your bike. The staff were delightful as well and they accommodated us two wheeling nomads with good spirit, good humour and friendly attentive service. It probably deserves 5 stars but I give everyone 5 stars so I'm going to be a bit more critical today because the decor was a bit dated and the toilets are tiny. It's an outstanding location but the building is crying out to be replaced by something more inspiring.

A fantastic location, we only stopped as a Motorhome stop. We where made very welcome, facilities are available and the location is peaceful and relaxing. The food is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone in the area to send a night and treat yourself.

Had a really lovely time here for a wedding, the food was lovely, my only advice would be to make sure you have cash on you for drinks just because their card machines take ages to work, or just buy a fewcdrinks to keep you going lol

Really lovely place. Great staff team. When they are busy space is a bit on the tight side. Grounds are gorgeous and there are usually animals for petting to keep the kids amused. They are also pet friendly which is great. Loads of space to run around and play games with the kids or get your group photos. They have outbuildings as well for private functions, weddings etc. Plenty of parking which is free. Easy to find. Reasonable prices. Food is nicely presented but not the best. Basics like the roast potatoes were cooked but only just. They were heavy and too firm in the middle. Other vegetables seemed similar. Seems like they may need a bigger kitchen in order to cope with their busy periods. On the upside the staff are well trained and work really hard.

My friend and I went for afternoon tea just before Christmas. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our table. When the tea arrived we couldn’t believe the amount of food that was there for just two of us. There was a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. As well as 2 huge homemade scones. We could not eat it all so the waitress brought us a box each so we could take the rest home with us. It was excellent value for money and we plan to visit again in March and June for birthdays. I would highly recommend this afternoon tea.

We had our wedding at Barnsgate Manor in July. I can honestly say that it was perfect from start to finish, and we cannot thank Gary and the staff enough. The food and drink was exceptional, and many of our guests felt the same. Everything was managed in a professional manner so we knew we were in good hands throughout the experience. We highly recommend having your wedding here. We don't think you will be disappointed!

Afternoon tea to celebrate my friends birthday. Brilliant afternoon at Barnsgate today, forgot to take a pic of the fantastic choice of sandwiches and small cakes plus scones displayed on a 3 tier cake stand. Fantastic service, attentive and happy staff. Excellent value for money. Booked in for another afternoon tea in a few weeks for a family birthday. Barnsgate is differently a place to visit if you want something special and enjoy the service of brilliant staff in a relaxed atmosphere with fantastic view of the South Downs.

We came to Barnsgate Manor for our sixth form Christmas Party and the whole event was so memorable. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout the entire evening. The set up and decorations were beautifully done and all of the food was fantastic. Everyone had the most wonderful evening and we would love to return in the future.

We had our works Christmas party here, food was lovely, music and dancing good, only downside was that they had apparently had a downstairs plumbing issue which unfortunately left a very unpleasant smell in the toilets and corridor! It didn't spoil our night though.

Beautiful place for a blessing, staff are lovely especially Michael the Assistant Manager who really helped the day run smoothly and kept me calm. Thank you so much to all the team for looking after us and the gentleman who came back from south of France to do the hog roast, you were outstanding.

The perfect venue for a wedding. Attended a ceremony there recently with the reception elsewhere. Beautiful small barn style hall. Excellent location and scenery for a small wedding.
