The chef is very experienced and has worked in top restaurants, as well as a private chef. He’s a top man!

Phoned up for normal and gluten free fish and chips on a Thursday evening and they were happy to oblige and frankly the best fish & chips we’ve eaten in years with great fast service at a good price with a very happy coeliac customer

Honestly this place does the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, beyond that, it’s a chippy but oh my lord it does the most insane burger I’ve ever eaten and for under a fiver what would you ever complain about !!!! 12/10 would give this place your money!
Christmas week our family had plenty of turkey, we were in the mood for fish and chips.
I can honestly say riverside fish bar makes the freshest fish in a perfect batter and amazing chips full of flavour .

It gets busy but the food is good, with a generous amount of chips.
Had a late lunch on a Friday and got to Riverside at 2pm. They so kindly opened the door and made our order despite just closing. Really friendly staff and omg the cod bites were delicious and crunchy chips. The cod was an incredible size and will definately have Riverside as my go to fish and chips

In my opinion this is the best fish and chip shop in the area. Crispy batter. Great service. The fish is always enormous, hot and delicious. 2 cod and 1 bag of chips for under £10 !! Brilliant.
