My second visit to this place with my son. Arrived just before closing and no problem staff happily did us some well cooked chips and a well sized piece of haddock that I stole some from my son to taste.
It was well cooked with great batter that was light and not greasy. My pie was also well cooked and not some dried up offering.
Also had a peanut butter milkshake that was on the money.
Just as good as the first visit.

This Fish & Chip shop has recently come under new ownership. Under the previous owner it was quite good. Now it is outstanding. The best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish is always beautifully fresh and the chips are really yummy. I am guessing he changes his oil frequently which may be the reason it tastes so good.

Just ate a large cod, regular chips and mushy peas and that was the best fish and chips I have eaten in as long as I can remember, I'm talking years.....
The chips are amazing, really well cooked, exactly as I love them. Beautiful colour, a mixture of cruch and softness, fantastic size distribution, Delicious chips where every chip tastes different and better.

Presentation was really good too. When I opened the box and saw the fish and chips, it took my breath away... Nice...

Great service from friendly, helpful staff.
The food was excellent, l had the quarter pound burger, chips and onion rings.
The milkshakes are delicious and the prices very good.
I will definitely visit next time I'm in Uckfield.

Really enjoyed the food not only me even my little kids. They have variety of menu. I love their fish and chips, sausages even the kids love the burgers and nuggets. The quality and the quantity of their serving is great. Added more is the ambiance, the staff is good. I highly recommend their shop.

Absolutely beautiful had cod bites and chips one day then next had nuggets and chips proper chicken nuggets none of that processed rubbish. And a nice fella as well don't live local we are woking at hospital and this is a good lunch shop for me

Friendly staff, two visits so far and both times the food is perfectly cooked. Thin, crispy batter on large pieces of fish. The chips are uniformly crispy but soft and fluffy inside.
No excessive greasiness or fat on the food, either. Really good place to get your evening takeaway, 5 stars.

Fish and chips were fresh and cooked to order the batter was crispy and not oilily.
The milkshakes are full of flavour and can highly recommend.
The staff were friendly and have a good sense of humour and are willing to have a laugh with you whilst you wait for food.

Been going to Forest Roe since we moved locally but after a not so good experience there the last time, decided to try Kam’s after driving past a few days earlier.
So pleased to have found this takeaway, ordered online and collected on time, still hot when we got it home and the halloumi burger and veggie burgers were excellent with nice fresh salad, the chips were the best we’ve had in a long time.
Will be back probably too often…..

The fish is really firm and meaty, not at all greasy. Batter is light and Crispy. Chios are really tasty now. Fab after the change.
Love that they do small, reg and large plus kids fish and chips aren't only fish bites/goujons but an actual piece of fish
