Visited with family for Saturday afternoon meal. Good menu selection, nice friendly atmosphere, great food. We all had the gammon which was cooked to perfection. Sweets and coffees after were delicious - great service, nothing is too much trouble and we are now frequent return customers. Arriving at 3pm its a nice time of the day to eat there, just after the lunchtime rush and before it gets too busy for evening service.
Lovely Sunday lunch with family. Very limited choice of mains for veggies, lots of options for meat eaters. Great kids menu and choices of lighter bites if you don’t fancy a roast. Good service. Recommend booking in advance to ensure you get a table.
The room was brilliant and amazingly priced considering what is included. The air con was very welcome amidst the heatwave too. Would definitely stay again. The check in was awkward as we stood for around 8 minutes at the designated area before a staff member even acknowledged us. Other than that there are no complaints.
Visited for a function. Food and service fantastic. Well presented property and excellent attention to detail. Our food was beautifully cooked, with ample portion sizes. We will return as restaurant guests very soon!
Quality place. Nice staff. Good local beer - but probably not a big beer pub, so try before buying. Yes, good beer is important in life... We will visit again.
Can't comment on the rooms as only went for a meal. But if the rooms are as nice as the restaurant then all is well.

Only one tiny issue .. a bit of butter on the fresh crusty bread on the ploughman's would make it perfect.
I'm ashamed to say I've never been here before. Last week was my first time, and I was really impressed. The beer garden has stunning rural views, and the restaurant is clean and well managed.
It was a Wednesday, and the occasion was my mother in laws 85th birthday. It was 6pm and really busy. There were other larger groups, all tables were full, there was a wake in the function room and still the service was amazing! The food was lovely too.

Beautiful pub and the staff were fabulous so friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and the service was quick. We all had a fab lunch and were so full. The price was really good as well. The view over the river at the back was great.
Lovely place to sit in the sunshine, drink a fabulous local beer and sample a lovely menu. We only had a lunch type snack but oh my! The hand cooked chips were quite possibly the best pub chips I've ever tasted. They were crispy on the outside,fluffy in the middle and not remotely greasy. Yum!
I called in with three friends after a walk we have called in a few times before the pub is beautifully furnished the staff are very friendly the beer is excellent very reasonable prices the food is good we will be back there in a month's time

Great family meal with very good service from friendly and professional staff who were attentive but not too in your face. Very nice surroundings. A little noisy, but in fairness it was very full and soon quietened down as a couple of groups left ;-) Sadly it was raining so we couldn't explore outside, but the views are beautiful.
We spent a lovely couple of days staying at the Corbett Arms. Was a perfect location for our plans. We had a fantastic room with a 4 poster bed. Food was excellent and all staff very friendly.
