Really cute local café by the port with delicious and healthy vegetarian dishes. All the ingredients are either homegrown or locally sourced. It’s definitely the best place for having tea or lunch in Uig. Their homemade cakes are also very tasty. Absolutely recommend stopping by to visit Ella :)

Owner gave us awesome tips on where to go and how to go in order to avoid the hoards of crowds. The cafe itself is lovely, everything was being baked fresh! We had freshly baked scone with homemade raspberry jam which was absolutely delicious! The apple and ginger cake was a lot lighter than it looked! We wanted to go back for lunch cos the smell coming from the kitchen was AMAzing! Highly recommend!

Best cafe in Uig. Don't go anywhere else. Loose leaf teas, homemade bread and soups. Great chocolate and walnut brownies... We stumbled upon it and it was a great find!

I loved this place!!! One side of the Café is a restaurant where you can drink tea and eat local vegetarian food, while the other side is a second hand store with vinyl and clothes. I loved the old music they where playing. I also loved the view from the window. My loose tea was great. Finally, I've got to say that I liked the man who was serving everything. He was in a conversation with some people about the anti-Brexit politics he stood for. An opinion that became quite clear when looking at the anti-Brexit signs in the interior. All in all, a great place to stay!

Great food, great coffee and spoke at length with the owners - visited twice while on Skye, would highly recommend stopping by. Open during off season too!

Very friendly hosts and delicious scones. Good cuppa. Great selection of locally made souvenirs and a variety of interesting vintage items. My wife found a perfect, local souvenir to remind us of our holiday in Scotland. Highly recommend.

We stumbled in here by accident, and ended up having one of my very favorite experiences we've had in Scotland so far. Ella makes everything herself from scratch, and the food and baked goods are outstanding. Supremely child-friendly, so bring your little ones. But more importantly, come here for a great cultural experience, and a taste of some Scottish pride. I had a wonderful conversation with the owners about Scottish independence and UK politics, and that's the sort of thing that I absolutely love when I'm traveling overseas. We had a great meal, but we also learned a ton, and felt like we made some new friends. The place is tiny, so you might have to wait for a table, but that's half the fun! I could happily spend hours in their store, just reading interesting things. I'll go way out of my way to come back here next time I'm anywhere near Scotland.

Lovely little cafe, we got there around 12 and it filled up fast afterwards, (tho there's a little shop to have a look at while you wait for a table). Staff were really friendly, even fetched some books for our toddler to look at & keep him entertained. We had the homemade veg soup and sour dough bread, really yummy, our little boy loved his potato & olive scone too. The salad leaves were home grown & all the bread was made fresh that morning. And they have the best homemade cakes! Can't wait to return next time we're in the area, our favourite lunch of our holiday!

We were on Skye for only 3 nights, but drove all the rounds for the most part. Although our stay was short, this cafe was the most remarkable find and stands out most in our memory! Staggeringly amazing bread and baked goods, wonderful soup. It's just around the corner, a few steps up the hill from the ferry landing. We are so glad we ventured in. We'll return this December, and be sure to visit you again.

The food was delicious. It looked and tasted to me that all the salad was homegrown. The sourdough roll was the best bread I have ever tasted. The surroundings are quirkly too. Eating and shopping g here is supporting independent businesses at its finest. Highly recommended to all, although speaking of independence, I'm not sure Farage or BoJo would be welcome...

Very unique, as uncorporate as they come. Very much recommended as a result. Two thirds of this place is a thrift store / non-charity charity shop. One third is a few tables forming a tea room. The tea room does vegetarian food only. When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. We were lucky, others after us had to wait longer or went away hungry. The owner doesn't do takeaway because he doesn't want to send disposable plastics etc. into the world. The food is very good indeed, all home made and all very reasonably priced.. The building has some speakers with what seems like the owner's eclectic and inoffensive music tastes in it and also occasional political tracts about e.g. Catalonian separatists. The whole place has a lot of "Yes to Scottish referendum" publicity all over it and very prominent. An unusual place, but all the more charming for it

Lovely, home made food, books, cds, etc. and quirky things to browse/buy while you queue or wait for your food (not long). Lovely, lovely people who run this family business. If it's not very busy, they will engage in a meaningful conversation with you. We spent two happy hours there, instead of the planned 45 minutes and we don't regret it at all. Fairy Glen was nice too :)

An interesting place selling goods on behalf of local folks, bought a few bits there are a good range of DVDs and record's for sale. The owner views his political life, which is not what holiday people like me are looking for so I left. The coffee side looked interesting maybe they sell Tea ?.

Absolutely lovely experience with great food! Lovely host Dominic and Ella! Would love to visit them again. Reach as early as possible as everything is home cooked and might be over quicker than you expect!

Welcoming charming place run by enthusiastic kind people. We just had tea & coffe but both were good and reasonably priced. We also bought a wooden picture form the store they also have in the same place, with lots of lovely little second hand things and some prints, pics and paintings from -I guess- local artists. There's parking space right there, very useful for road travellers like us. We found curious and charming that they display what they think about their land and their land's situation all over the place, I see in the reviews some people (a fellow Spaniard apparently was "offended"...) did find it uncomfortable but personally I think it's fundamental to let everyone speak their mind about whatever they want, it's their business! So if you don't like it or it does make you uncomfortable to see a proud scottish café.... just...go anywhere else ( and try to leave an objective review of the place) and ....it's only decorations, they don't bother you at all and they don't seem to treat differently anyone from anywehere going there, which is the main point: live and let live! :)

An excellent little cafe/second hand shop in Uig. On a cold day you’ll find some tasty and most importantly, warm soups to keep your toasty. It’s a cross between a vintage thrift shop and cafe, with a lovely owner and good food.
