The atmosphere of the pub can be slightly improved as the decor was dated and too much resemblance of an old dining hall. (Based on my impression.)
There were two parts: the restaurant and the pub. It was livelier in the pub area and you can order food from both areas.

Recently refurbished. Had early light dinner. The red pepper and tomato soup and skewered chicken were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was one of the best. Great food. Reasonable prices.

June 2023. It's been open under new ownership for a few months now. The interior has been transformed. Very stylish, you can get a view into the kitchen to see your meals being prepared. Visited on 24th May for lunch. Table booked prior to visit but not happy with area given us. Explained to waitress and she moved us to better Table, no problem. Ordered drinks, beer arrived looking very cloudy, tried it and tasted vile. Took back to bar, it was changed no problem, much better ale.

Decided to visit Ullenhall as my mum was a land army girl in the area. Stopped for lunch and what a find. Next time will check the portion size before we order dessert.
