Wonderful food and crafts! Our car battery died and Anne very kindly let us charge our jump start pack for a few hours so we could get back on the road. I tried the quiche which was so good I had to get a second slice! Fantastic views and we had the company of a very sweet little hen looking for crumbs. So glad we stopped by and would reccomend to anyone.

A jewel on the road from Calgary to Salen. Wonderful service, gorgeous home baking and stunning location. I had a lovely lentil soup and received a 10% using my own reusable cup. A great asset to our Community. Well done Anne.

Absolute gem of a find, please visit. We had coffee, we tried the quiche which was amazing. The home made Lentil & Bacon soup was so delicious. My favourite by far was the scone with jam and cream. Lots of home made gifts too for sale.

Found this awesome little coffee place while exploring Isle of Mull coastal drive. Beautiful views and seating area just across the road. Cafe lady was very friendly and bakes delicious cakes, scones, rolls etc. You have to try Vanilla Sponge cake and Roll, Absolutely delicious. It was my partners birthday that day, it was a perfect spot for a wee little break and celebration. PS: Its Cash Only, so always make sure to carry some while exploring the costal side as there are no ATM machines around.

Delicious treats made from scratch! The sausage roll, carrot cake, and scones were divine. So happy we pulled off the road for these stunningly delicious baked goods! The view doesn’t hurt either.

I'd give it 10 stars if I could! One of the best scones I've had in awhile. The carrot cake was also super moist & the icing just right. And there are tables overlooking the water - could've stayed for hours. The owner is also a lovely lady who bakes everything fresh, from scratch, everyday. Thanks much to the Hen House for sustaining us as we explored the rest of the isle!

Popped in for a coffee and cake while out on a coastal drive. The lady was very nice and served us the biggest scones, cream and jam I have ever seen. VERY NAUGHTY BUT NICE. The coffee was also very nice and we sat in the seating area over the road from the cabin, surrounded by nothing but nature. What more could you ask ??

The Hen House is a beautiful little spot to stop for a coffee and treats while out exploring Mull. We had some coffee and a flapjack (it was the only vegan option) and Anne had soy milk available, too. It was all delicious! Anne makes all the cakes and crafts herself and everything is beautifully presented. We couldn't resist buying some beautiful hand painted tic-tac-toe sets as a souvenir. If you're out this side of Mull, I'd recommend dropping by!

Didn't go into the cafe as it was closed, but there are some amazing views from their benches. The owner was happy for us to use them for our own needs whilst they were closed. She was very pleasant and the cafe looked lovely inside. Will be back to try in 4 weeks. πŸ‘
