Superb little cafe. Food was made gluten free on request and the rosti was delicious. Meats were locally sourced and also very good quality. We went on Saturday lunchtime for brunch and we're going to return for tea but they had closed. Never mind!

We attended one of Poppies evening nights in June and it was Devine. The food was presented beautifully and both dishes tasted amazing. The sharing complimentary nibble starter went down a treat (not pictured) and the service was perfect! Very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning to
Unbelievable!! Amazing food!! Best Sandwich I had in my life ! My partner had the steak that was amazing too! We also tried their milkshakes with homemade ice cream...needless to say they were incredible too! Staff smiley and friendly! Will be going to Ulverston just for Poppies alone !
Lovely cafe with tasty food. Staff were really kind to my little girl bringing her toddler cutlery with her chocolate brownie.
Wonderful breakfast definitely not for the budget conscious but would definitely go again every item was well cooked and lovely setting too.
Fantastic vegan pie had at Poppies cafe. Well tasty! Staff are lovely and welcoming. And the tattoo style art work thats for sale on the walls is brilliant.
