I had scrambled egg breakfast and my hubby had the Hardy breakfast. Beautifully presented and was delicious. Will highly recommend to all my friends
I loved it, the food is delicious. The staff fab and the atmosphere made the whole experience wonderful, something you just can't get in a chain coffee shop.
If you fancy something different give mad hatters a try! Such a quirky little cafe with a lovely atmosphere. Had a brew in here and loved all the odd bits of crockery that it was served with. If I'd have had more time there I'd have had some cake to go with it, it all looked delicious. There's lots of little trinkets to have a nosey at too.
Everytime we come to Ulverston we eat here! We actually compare other cafes we eat at everywhere we go to this place and no where has beaten this one yet! The food is always gorgeous and the staff are always so friendly (as people in Ulverston all generally seem to be).
QUIRKY LITTLE TEA ROOM WITH GREAT MENU. SAVOURY CRUMPETS, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT? YES, CRUMPETS WITH HONEY,WALNUTS, AND BLUE CHEESE SERVED WITH A BEAUTIFUL FRUIT SALAD. TASTY CAPPUCCINO TOO.
No problems at all, and everything served with a bit of a twist. Their is a weird tunnel you have to go through to the toilets which the kids thought was great. Large group of us (9) squashed on to largest table, service was prompt. We had breakfasts (meat and vegetarian) jacket potatoes and bespoke choices for toddlers etc. All good. Lady owner very smiley and affable.
Lovely little tea room, cosey, the meal we had was great, me and my aunt had a cheese and onion toastie with a fantastic salad, my mum had a BLT with a salad and it was fab! The drinks where very well priced and they tasted so good too.
Fantastic prices for what we where given we would definitely go back there if we went back for the markets they have such a variety of foods on the menu we wouldn't mind trying.
Lovely quirky cafe with friendly staff . I had an Americano whilst family had a camomile tea and apple juice along with a jacket potato (prepared to partners specification with no issue) & little 'un had a lovely choc cake. All in very pleasant.
An interesting Cafe with attention to detail, bucket for wet umbrella, fast friendly service, and a varied large menu .
Interesting quotes from Lewis Carroll works and Billy Conolly!
Local Art is for sale. A trip to the toilets is an Alice in Wonderland experience as it is walk to the back and downstairs
Quickly little place, food was nice and the waitresses were great. A little on the expensive side and we had a bit of a wait, buy it was a soggy Saturday afternoon.
Brilliant cafe. Very unique. Lovely helpful staff. Lovely old building. Nice reasonably priced food.
Great quirky little cafe in the centre of town. Menu has lovely selection with seating upstairs or downstairs.
