Fishermans Arms - Ulverston - Photo album

Lovely old building situated on a quiet hilltop with fantastic views out over the bay and countryside to the rear. Good decor. Meticulously clean, comfy bed and spotlessly fresh linen. I had a lovely breakfast, too. I'd visit again. Thank you to the friendly staff also.
Tasteful decor throughout. Run by a very nice couple. My daughter and I stopped for lunch. Food was excellent. Service attentive and efficient. Lounge bar was bright and airy. What I particularly liked was being asked whether I wanted the regular size scampi or the smaller portion. I hadn't noticed
Brilliant customer service for evening meals and outstanding food. Arrived at 4:40pm asking if they could do dinners early and they said they normally start dinners at 5 but they didn’t have a problem with the early cooking. Made us feel very welcome!
Perfect setting for families. Lovely play park just opposite. Food good but quite pricey. I'd like to see more on offer for children on the menu as the 3 options weren't to my children's taste. They opted for starters instead. Friendly staff but they all need to be in a smart uniform. Own scruffy
Amazing food at amazing value. £16 two courses and £20 three courses. We had pea and ham soup with cheese on toast to start, followed by roast beef, and finished with sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely worth every penny. The waitress was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful family run hotel. Our room is very comfortable with a lovely sea view. I would highly recommend. The food is delicious with a good selection of drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mr and Mrs Smith😁 Will be rebooking for next year.
Good food, friendly and helpful waitress and l loved the relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend.
We have visited here many times and never been disappointed. The menu changes regularly and is seasonable with something for everyone. The quality sets this restaurant apart from others in the area which is a tall order considering the number of good pubs and restaurants in this part of Cumbria. T
