The Old Farmhouse - Ulverston - Photo album

Brilliant service and lovely quality food. Welcoming staff that put in the effort and checked if our food was okay. Would recommend getting the shared starter for 2!
We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn but didn't fancy the food there so searched online for somewhere nearby and the Farmhouse popped up. So after a wet morning at the local zoo on Thursday we decided to try out the Farmhouse on the way back to the hotel, WOW, we couldn't decide so we both had
Hadn't booked to eat, but friendly staff accommodated us even tho' they were busy. We had Cumberland pie which was very tasty and a sizeable portion. Felt like I'd eaten when I left. Good choice of meal options, even though they'd run out of the carvery, not that we were bothered. Would certainly re
We visited as a family of 6 including 2 children. Absolutely lovely place. Warm, friendly and beautiful food 😋 children were happy as were the adults. Decently priced for fantastic portions. Fabulous evening with fabulous food. Deffinitley recommend.
Service was amazing. The guy was really polite and helpful. Food portion sizes are really good! That nachos dish for a starter was massive. We will be back I'm sure of it.
Visited this place on our stay at the Lakes and we made such a good choice. The food was exceptional and they let us have our dogs with us in the back garden. After ordering we had to wait for our food, but it was worth every minute. Would totally recommend it, the staff was nice, the prices are aff
Been here for food many times. In fact this is our go to destination for food when in Ulverston. Staff are friendly and the food is really good. Dogs ate welcomed in the bar area and when the weather is good the outdoor area is a great place for food and a drink
Cod o plenty is huge! Would definitely recommend. Cajun chicken was nice, but very little sauce so a little dry. Garlic bread is amazing.
This place was recommended and omg it did not disappoint. We wanted a roast dinner and was offered a 3 course for £15 yes I did say that right. I had homemade tomato soup served with warm bread n butter. Roast beef served with mash, parsnips, roasties, Yorkshire pudding, green beans, broccoli, carro
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was packed with flavour.
The best family meal we've had in a long time. Came to the restaurant on a saturday afternoon and was so impressed that we had to return on the Sunday for the roast dinner.
Went for a 3 course roast dinner. Overall very good, and reasonably priced. Choice of cider could have been as only strongbow was on tap.
Went for the Sunday Roast and I had brisket. All the food was delicous I just thought portion size was a tad small. Everything else was spot on!
visited on the last day of our holiday. Was warmly welcomed and shown our table. Orders for food and drink was taken quickly. Food came in good time & when it arrived, it was very nice. I had the farmhouse burger & for me, the Chicken was a little overcooked, otherwise it was fine. also had some pud
During our weekend in the Lake District we are looking for a pub that was showing the match on sky sports after ringing up they was very helpful and provided us with the information we needed. The pub is nice and spacious and has a number of seats in the outside area. A member of staff came out to
Lovely pub food at reasonable prices. It's a really lovely little pub. I enjoyed seeing people's dogs 🙂
This place is my local. If you go, try the pie. You won't be disappointed. Update: They have an offer on Sundays at the moment for 3 courses for £15. We had to check this price was correct as it's such a good offer. The portions are very large too. We definitely recommend going here. We will defini
