Bengal Rose South Asian Restaurant

I went here with my daughter and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was great and friendly and the food was even better. I had the Chingri Nawab Massala and it was the best curry I've ever had, delicious. My daughter is vegetarian and was really happy she could pick any curry flavour with a veg option. I will definitely be back for more.

On a trip to Ulverston from Kendal today we decided to go here for the Happy Hour this evening, and I'm very glad we did. The food was absolutely superb, the staff very attentive but not pushy or intrusive like in other restaurants, and the very friendly Manager took time to chat to us afterwards. But back to the meal! Our starters came quickly after ordering and were excellent value, very well cooked and presented, good sized portions too. Our main courses were beautifully cooked too, again very generous portions and were served quickly. I genuinely can't fault any part of our meal or dining experience, and we'll definitely go again!

we received a flyer in the post and as an happy hour was quoted with set price and dishes we thought we'd give it a whirl, I'm so glad we did, the food was delicious, the service was exemplary and it was a lovely friendly, cosy atmosphere. For the price of £18 pp it's amazing value, we have regular visitors so it will always be our first port of call to take friends. All in all the owners/management should be proud of their establishment and customer service they provide. Thanks again Bengal and we will be back very soon.

We were in Ulverston for a short break and saw great reviews so decided to try. There were 8 of us and the service was quick and efficient. The staff and management ensured we were happy with everything. All our food was amazing, so tasty and authentic. We all had a wonderful evening. Just wish we had such a great restaurant in our home town.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Bengal Rose whilst here on holiday- it was the best Indian food we have ever had! Every course was delicious, hot, fresh and beautifully presented. Lot of choice on the menu with meals and drinks served promptly. Thank you to the lovely staff who were so friendly and welcoming. The decor was fabulous and comfy chairs too- absolutely faultless, we can’t recommend eating here highly enough! Happy too that there was a car park in the adjacent street, so access was so easy. We hope to return to the Bengal Rose again next time we are here on holiday. Thank you for the coffees too!
