Review Weirmarsh Farm Restaurant - Umberleigh

I was taken here by friends who use the restaurant quite often. Everything about the place was 5 star, service, ambience, attention to detail etc. The food was outstanding, one of the best meals I've eaten in a long while and reasonably priced too. I come from Brighton where there is an endless choice of restaurants and eat out a lot but this topped them all.

We came here for the evening of my best friends wedding. Beautiful setting, lovely staff and absolutely delicious food!! Cosy fireplace. I highly recommend Weirmarsh farm! Will be returning. X

Lovely house. A few of the beds and pillows in the house were uncomfortable but we brought our own. Hot tub was relaxing and younger ones liked it. I would definatly Recommend if you are going Devon and looking for somewhere to stay

Bit apprehensive on arrival as not sure what to expect (farm buildings and all that) . Access to the restaurant is at the back just along from the car park. Entry into a fairly large lounge complete with 5 sofas and assorted chairs with a nice wood burning stove in the middle....very cozy. Mein host very attentive with good selection of pre dinner drinks and canapé. Food very good and really worthy of seconds if only there was enough room to fit it in! Back to the lounge for tea or coffee. Definitely coming back. Just a note - restaurant only open Friday and Saturday but you must pre book. If your party is 10 or more then other days will be considered. Brilliant.

Fantastic dining experience in a homely surrounding. We always love a trip to Weirmarsh Farm Restaurant. Order your food in advance and its all cooked fresh with no waste all local and extremely yummy!

We love it here and so did all the guests who came to celebrate a significant birthday! Peter and Becky were great hosts, Judy and Lisa prepped and created a wonderful dinner and Luke and the waitress (sorry I didn't get her name) were courteous and confident serving the dinner, dessert and wine. We held our wedding reception at Weirmarsh a few years ago, it's a special place for every occasion and it never disappoints! Highly recommend!

Amazing food- had our small wedding reception there a few years ago after getting married at Millbrook, and the manager could not have been any more accommodating. All of our guests said the food was fantastic!
