Overall this is a wonderful feel good pub. Staff lovely, beers good and place spotless but still welcoming. Very pleasant and helpful regulars. My only minor complaint is that the drinks are a tad pricey but excellent choices.

Really enjoy this pub. Went along to take part in Quiz night which is every Thursday and have to say that Richard does the place proud as he keeps things interesting with his wit.
Also discovered he's a good entertainer as he also appeared on Sunday playing a guitar and singing.
Staff are very friendly and helpful and like I said, quiz night is so much fun!

Fantastic local, great quiz every Thursday, love going in, always seems busy, believe it’s been recently refurbished too, can’t quite put my finger on it but the feeling of a proper pub!
Having not visited The White Lion for decades we were invited to a christening reception recently. The pub has been extensively refurbished throughout to a high standard. Drinks are good, and the staff are also welcoming and helpful. Limited car parking is available at one side of the pub, and a small public car park is on the other side.

Great pub lovely standard of furnishings top quality beers and wines . The landlady Amanda was amazing nothing too much trouble for her and very professional. As was the girl behind the bar Beth . Thanks to all of them for looking after our party . Definitely going back 5 star pub.

What's transformation this pub has had and the entertainment at jubilee weekend was fab. Lovely people running it great sports selection lovely atmosphere
Pub garden and the toilets don't stink of damp anymore
Really liked our visit. We were only supposed to stay for an hour or so, but it was so accommodating that we forgot the time! I don't know anything about rugby, but watched a whole game very happily! Would recommend, and will be visiting again.
Recently been renovated and well worth a visit great atmosphere good choice of beers , wine , and cider my favourite at present and has live music on se time inside and out in summer with a lovely atmosphere
Nice local pub, staff are friendly enough. Good selection of drinks a d a decent pool table. Nearly all live sports is shown and there is a good size beer garden .
