Lovely country pub. Fabulous food. Landlord and staff are amazing. Really nice garden with swings and slide for the kids. Highly recommended
Called in here by chance when we were out for a birthday lunch, the food was lovely, everyone was very friendly and we had thoroughly enjoyable day. Good luck for the future to the landlord and all his staff
We ordered Steak and Ale Pie, and it was beautifully cooked, the steak was so soft, and the Strawberry Eton mess was lovely, although I thought a few more strawberries would have been nice. The service was just brilliant.
Great pub, I stopped for a couple pints of seafearer on a dog walk very nice, lovely chicken burger, great value as well £11.50 with bacon and cheese added. Also the service was really friendly. Need more affordable pubs like this.
On a canal holiday, well worth the walk up the hill. Great landlord, great locals, couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Thanks everyone we'll def be back next time we chug past :)
