Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe

It was over all a good experience! The hot chocolate was delicious and the waffles were good. But here are my critiques it took about 20 minutes of waiting for the waffles and about 10 minutes for the hot chocolate, I mean the wait was a bit ridiculous. Also the ice cream that is used is coles vanilla ice cream (I know this because I saw the tub on the bench being used) and was very watery and icy which ruined an almost perfect waffle. If you fix the ice cream this place could seriously be the best waffles in Brisbane they are crispy yet soft seriously amazing texture (p.s maybe add like a strawberry it would add to the waffle experience)! Anyway I had a delicious time here and you should go!

My go-to place for my decaf lactose free latte 😂 From memory it has never tasted burnt like a lot of the other cafe coffees have been. All the staff make it well but there is one gentleman in particular who makes exceptionally smooth coffees. Don't know his name though. All of my friends whom I've introduced to here really like their coffees, other drinks and food too.

I love this place, have been here a few times now for brunch. I highly recommend the food, especially the vegetarian dishes, fries and waffle ones as those are the ones I have tried. The food is very nice for taking photos of too. A small comment is there is some waiting time and forgetfulness, last time the staff forgot to give one of two coffees and I had asked for it a few times.

The good : The large flat white coffee. It was hot with a nice thick milky top and tasted very nice. The bad : general service. They have stickers on the floor for social distancing which is great but they stop at a rope barrier and apparently you’re supposed to move around that barrier to get served. Very odd setup. The other bad is while the coffee was nice it took nearly 20mins to come
