Mad Mex

Great food & fantastic service! If you haven't been to Mad Mex before, think Mexican food meets subway. You tell the staff what type of food you want (Burrito, Tacos etc.) Then you tell them the ingredients you want to have on it. If you're not sure, you can just follow their recommendation. The food is fresh, clean and doesn't leave you feeling bloated, which I love. The staff are always friendly, and if you come often enough, they even remember your order, and your name. It's old school service meets a modern dining experience. If you want my personal favourite. It's a chicken burrito, with extra chorizo, no sauce, then lettuce, cheese and corn. Gauc if I'm feeling fancy. It's perfect for anyone who doesn't like spicy food.

Yeah so Mad Mex made a big boo boo. Ordered delivery, not only did they forgot avocado side but they also gave us a "chicken melt instead of a vegan melt" that my vegan partner unfortunately bit into. Called the store, manager seemed apologetic i told him we would drive over he would remake order and to get started. Drive over and no one knew what we were talking about, all they gave us was the replacement melt. So lost money on delivery wasted time driving over and me and my partner ate at different times alone. Srsly if you offer a vegan range you have to be really careful what you send out. If you mess up that bad give us a refund so we might consider coming back.

AMAZING! Mad Mex provided the catering for my partners 50th on the weekend as they are his favourite Mexican food outlet in Brisbane. We ordered the beef, the chicken, beans, guacamole and salsa. It was a HUGE success with everyone raving about the food. It was even popular with my FIL who used to be the owner/head chef of a Mexican restaurant up the coast many years ago. Thank you again for making the night perfect.
