A lovely cosy pub that is spotless clean combined with traditional features of this old characterful building. Liz is tremendous, welcoming and elegant, the perfect host.
We enjoyed lunch of the homemade pies with choice of veg etc excellent and such good value. I can't recommend them enough 😎😍
If you're looking for good quality, home-cooked food, then you'll not go wrong here. Price extremely reasonable and great value for money.
We will return when next in the area.
Nice pub, good food and friendly staff. We stayed at the campsite, those facilities could use a bit of TLC, but it was OK.
A great find on a day out exploring the area. Charming pub, warm fire and dog friendly atmosphere, the land lady was accommodating in finding us a table for two even though they were busy. There is also a camping field next to the pub, so it's a great place to stop overnight
Great place to camp. Some electric hookups. No hardstand. Plenty of grass to camp without electricity. 30 minute walk into the town of Upton.
Fantastic site for camping lovely and well kept. Service in pub was amazing and food Fantastic I can't shout loud enough we loved it, it was our first stop here but we will definitely be back
We stayed for one night on the campsite at side of pub, lovely homemade food, friendly staff, and a peaceful night

A very nice country style pub No tv. Seating outside and meals served daily. Camping site available at the back

I attended a motorcycle rally and club AGM, perfect venue and camping facilities for it.
Small but nice, very friendly and accommodating staff. We had Sunday roast which was quite good. Not very crowded and really nice interior. Resident doggo Patchy is a star!!! Worth the drive out to there.
